So Normal mine is the same

Mine is the same she turns 5 in a month and her attitude and behaviour is terrible but the worst part of it is she literally quotes me every day when I tell her off when she has an attitude I hear myself

Has she just started school ? That’s my boys issue is he picks it up there and brings it home and he is extra tired from having to actually concentrate

Same here. I’m so sick of having to raise my voice and be a shouty mum. She is so disobedient and rude… it’s exhausting🙄🥲

Yes she started in September and that’s what I don’t understand coz she’s so good and kind and respectful at school she just won a award in assembly for following all the school values and she always points out other kids bad behaviours at school but then proceeded to do the exact same stuff when we are home

In my experience, “bad” behavior is almost always a cry for connection or a sign of dysregulation (like hunger, tiredness, or needing full attention and gentle physical touch). What works like magic ✨ with my daughter is dropping everything to play with her for a few minutes to reset her tank🥰! Kids need deep connection❤️if they don't get positive attention, they'll act out to get it anyway...
Because I home educate, I notice school can also add extra layers: school brings stress, and kids can easily become heavily peer-influenced. When kids attach more strongly to friends than parents, behavior at home usually gets much harder. It all comes down to keeping our connection strong and keeping our kids close❤️. If you want an incredible book on this exact dynamic, I highly recommend Hold On to Your Kids by Gordon Neufeld, it completely changes how you view these behavioral phases!
Big hugs 🤗 it’s so hard to parent a child they need sooooo much connection ❤️

I always just put it down to how her dad choices to parent her he only has her one day a week and my exes mum has her one day a week aswell and both of them choice to just stick her infront of the tv for hours with junk food and I know some people have said well that’s what Nannie’s are for but I’ve noticed that it doesn’t really help me because then when she comes back from her dads she expects me to just stick the tv on for her and she will ask for junk food and I always so no and that what her toys are for and that I’m not raising her to sit infront of the screen

I will have movie nights with her on a Friday night but other than that she doesn’t watch tv she use to but because I know that’s all she does at her dads I like to say that the tv is babysitting her other than her dad he doesn’t really parent

Mine is awful right now and she learnt swearing in year 1 (shes mixed with year 2) and now can't stop 🤦🏼♀️ shes attitudey/ rude/ defiant etc but can then also be very sweet and kind etc
My baby is still in there somewhere lol

Too much love that’s why. It’s the best loved kids that act up they are very comfortable.
My baby has been having this on his gum for weeks now and the gp said it’s nothing but I’m so worried.
Has ever come across this before? I’m soo worried. Not sure if it’s affecting his feeding.. but he eats ok.

Hi, throughout duration of my pregnancy the husband has been rude and inconsiderate. He has forgotten my birthday and our anniversary.
I’m not sure if obedience school is an option at this age because he is 40 now and beyond the point of training age.
Any tips or helpful tricks to mediate his autonomy at this time ?

I can’t wait for my kids to get older. I have an almost 5 year old and a 3 year old. I wish they would hurry up and grow up. I feel like I’m taking care of 2 drunk guys all day long and making sure they don’t die. My oldest has horrible tantrums that he scratches me, bites me, hits me or throws and breaks things. My youngest and him fight all the time. They also need me for a lot of stuff still. I’m exhausted with them I’ve lost myself in motherhood. Even when I try to have breaks whoever is taking care of them I worry if they put something in their mouth or something else could’ve happened that the person may not say or saw. I’m tired my bf doesn’t help me and if he does at times not like I would like or throw it in my face. I don’t trust day cares and I know what I got my oldest is a lot to handle that Im worried someone doesn’t have the patience. I just want them healthy I’m also always worried if they ate enough did that sleep good, it’s a never ending worry that I hope once they get older stuff they can do on there own would help me. I’m just not enjoying this stage that they are in the always falling and fighting the bruises stress me out too. I’m loosing it I have been for a while.

I’m due to start potty training my daughter (finally) next week! She’s 2.5 years old. And I just need some tips cause I’m so nervous about it.
I’ve got some potty training underwear for her and some potties to put on each room and an extra seat for the toilet.
My house is carpet so I’m dreading this so much.
She used to tell me when we she needed to poo but the past few days she hasn’t?
Are there any tips to help it go smoothly and quickly(hopefully) since I was have a 3 month old to deal with.

Hiya
We're considering getting our daughter a Toniebox for christmas and just wanted to get some opinions on whether they are worth it for 2 year olds
Also if you have the toniebox 2 do you use the games features? I've seen the tonie box lite has been released which doesn't include games so I'm considering this due to the cheaper price but depends if thats a function we'll miss!
