I homeschool because I saw what public schools look like after my two oldest went through the system. It's practically criminal what they do and don't teach at this point and half of high school is just preventing assault on each other... Nope. No thank you.

I will soon start homeschooling and mainly I want to avoid vaccines but also not wanting to put my son in danger I just heard of another school shooting that happened today . I also don’t like public schools and the way they have little to no funding and teachers don’t get paid enough to care for their students

I don’t homeschool, but I had a desire to because of bullies & school shootings. I want to keep my kids safe. However, I have no patience for homeschooling, so I trust the school system the best I can. I do homeschool them for preschool, though.

Starting to now with our 4.5 year old.
We are emigrating. We will be renting in the area for a while, we don’t know where we will end up nor what schools are nearby. To minimise disruption we are homeschooling for a year or two till we establish.
Hi everyone,
Our son is currently ill with his latest cold and the owner of the nursery told me to maybe think about giving him vitamins as he gets sick more than the other kids do.
We give him vitamin d drops already but would vitamins work? I'm wondering if we need to feed him differently - though he has quite a varied diet I thought... We give him carbs, proteins and veg and full fat milk/ cheese, he likes fruit and veg. Only thing we don't regularly feed is red meat but he has fish and chicken.
Just wondering if anyone has any insights on this as I'm open to ideas!

Help!! My partner and I can't choose between two nurseries.
We want our son to start nursery in January as working from home is becoming impossible now😅 he will be 16 months by then.
We have visited two and they both have their pros and cons but can't decide especially since nursery A was visited on a Saturday so didn't see staff and children in action.
I know the decision is up to us at the end of the day but if you saw this list below what would you choose?

Moms, how do you give medicine to your toddlers? 🥹 My little one spits it out almost immediately, no matter what I try. Force-feeding is absolutely not an option for me. I’d love to know what works for you and your little ones! ❤️

Hi, what do people do during half term and holidays for childcare. My kids are both under 5 and I’m planning to go back to work once they both start nursery. What do you do during school holidays? Babysitters?

I have been FB friends with this girl for a year or so. She is sweet, but a lot of the things she says or does give me mixed feelings. Today, she posted on her story a video she recorded of her in the car with her kids. The 7 year old asked the 4 year old if he’s gay. He then went on to explain what gay means and said “it’s wrong” and she said “teaching them early!” How would you feel? I asked her how he even knew that word and she said “it’s the world these days” and “he’s pretty mature for his age.” I told her how most schools don’t even teach sex ed until 5th grade. She said her husband doesn’t help because he’ll say “you look gay”. I don’t know who he’s saying that to, but I was in shock. I don’t know if others said something about the video because she said maybe she shouldn’t have posted it.

Does it mean anything? It was a post on the app to say how my LO is settling into nursery.
