Help!! Since around 4 months my now 8 month old has had separation anxiety. He is absolutely fine if I leave him with my husband but anyone else is a no go! Any tips?! He is going to nursery in January and I want to try and nip it in the bud. Thank you!

I'm in the same boat. My SIL had him for 45 mins and he cried the whole time 😭. Nursery starts in January, but I feel I need to leave him with friends to build up to it.

Same boat, the only person my little one is okay staying with is my partner or mum for a few hours. Generally she is better when she's out of the house, when she's at home she gets upset if we have visitors who she's less familiar with. Hoping that being out of the house and all of the distractions at nursery make the transition easier. Have you got any settling in days at the nursery planned?
Thank you both! He has settling in mornings but I’m dreading them! I’m slowly starting to leave him with friends/family but even my mum he just screams. He is a lot better if they do something out of the house though. I’m not worried about leaving him, more that I worry that he will scream for other people! X
Hi everyone,
Our son is currently ill with his latest cold and the owner of the nursery told me to maybe think about giving him vitamins as he gets sick more than the other kids do.
We give him vitamin d drops already but would vitamins work? I'm wondering if we need to feed him differently - though he has quite a varied diet I thought... We give him carbs, proteins and veg and full fat milk/ cheese, he likes fruit and veg. Only thing we don't regularly feed is red meat but he has fish and chicken.
Just wondering if anyone has any insights on this as I'm open to ideas!

Help!! My partner and I can't choose between two nurseries.
We want our son to start nursery in January as working from home is becoming impossible now😅 he will be 16 months by then.
We have visited two and they both have their pros and cons but can't decide especially since nursery A was visited on a Saturday so didn't see staff and children in action.
I know the decision is up to us at the end of the day but if you saw this list below what would you choose?

Moms, how do you give medicine to your toddlers? 🥹 My little one spits it out almost immediately, no matter what I try. Force-feeding is absolutely not an option for me. I’d love to know what works for you and your little ones! ❤️

Due to past problems me and my niece are not on good terms. Last night she was targeting me and only me with everything that i said even when it had nothing to do with the past problem just constant drama and smart ass remarks or insults. If i refuse to have contact with her that is taking my sister (Aunt) and my other nieces and nephew (cousins) away from my son. Last night i got very smart with her and it caught her off guard which gives me the impression shes not expecting me to react and me snapping is slowly building up. So I’m wondering if i should just be straight up and tell her how i feel and get my point across or break my sister and nieces and nephew heart to where they barely see my son or make it clear that I’m not gonna stay quiet and just let it boil over?

Hi, what do people do during half term and holidays for childcare. My kids are both under 5 and I’m planning to go back to work once they both start nursery. What do you do during school holidays? Babysitters?

I have been FB friends with this girl for a year or so. She is sweet, but a lot of the things she says or does give me mixed feelings. Today, she posted on her story a video she recorded of her in the car with her kids. The 7 year old asked the 4 year old if he’s gay. He then went on to explain what gay means and said “it’s wrong” and she said “teaching them early!” How would you feel? I asked her how he even knew that word and she said “it’s the world these days” and “he’s pretty mature for his age.” I told her how most schools don’t even teach sex ed until 5th grade. She said her husband doesn’t help because he’ll say “you look gay”. I don’t know who he’s saying that to, but I was in shock. I don’t know if others said something about the video because she said maybe she shouldn’t have posted it.
