So my 29 month old is waking up again at silly times sometimes 11pm sometimes 2.30am and this morning 4am…….why? We did sleep training and brought a guide from Ruth the midwife and it worked it went so so well and we was all managing to sleep and felt refreshed now I am exhausted and feel drained
All he does is moan and moan and moan from the minute he wakes up till he goes to bed.
What duvet tog should we be using for him now it’s colder?

Could be sleep regression, or teething, or if hes having a development growth spurt. All these can affect sleep. If he was sleeping fine before and its a sudden change but nothing else at home has happened then he will settle back into his routine again, just got to ride this bit out.
As for duvet, i cant help mine dont keep theirs on 😂 have you tried fleecy pjs instead of changing duvet? Thats what i use so i know they are warm despite not using the duvet x

Literally same; feel like I’m losing my mind. She also doesn’t want to eat anything at all that she used to like . I feel like I’m failing as a mum 😩ðŸ˜ðŸ¤ª

Normal for children to wake in the night. What temperature is the room?
The routine likely needs tweaking and less sleep overall. What time do wake time, nap time and length if still napping and bedtime?
I am very much a bath girly and am starting to really miss having a nice warm soak.
A midwife in the hospital told me that I should wait 6-8 weeks for a bath. Is this true? Can a bath without soaps/ bubble bath be had before this? I have been showering daily, avoiding getting shampoo and shower gel on my incision.
I am 4 and a half weeks post C section.
Thanks for any advice xx

My mother who is 61 believes babies and toddlers should be PERFECT. She put me down so much with my first that I blamed myself for her not sleeping etc this time around with my second i understand it is biologically normal for babies to wake up during the night! I can take the comments this time however I cannot take her putting my toddler down. She gets extremely offended if my toddler does not say bye to her. My toddler is a pretty well behaved toddler but like all has her moments and if she is pushed she will push back and refuse even more to do something. Every time she refuses to say bye to her she says she will not return to see her again etc I’ve repeatedly explained just say bye to her and not make a drama bcos if you force her she will definitely not say it. I don’t want her to grow up a people pleaser like me and tonight I’d had enough she keeps saying wow just wait til she is a teenager her behaviour will be horrific etc my toddler takes in EVERYTHING she is told and all of this is said in front of her. It got into an argument when I spoke up and the usual came out of what has happened to this generation blah blah. Does anyone else’s parents behave like this? I have found that even older people accept that babies don’t sleep and motherhood is hard

My 4 week old tends to have an oz or so more than "advised" so normally have 5 to 6oz but has only eaten 3oz in his night feed tonight is that okay?
He is also extremely fussy and upset during his feeds at the moment and just tends to cry or scream alot, is this normal x

My 8 week old has no real routine. His dad and I split the night and take a shift each in different rooms and we’re really just muddling through responding to however he is that day/night. I know every baby is different but when roughly should we start a routine and what should it look like?

My baby is 5 weeks old and he just won’t settle at night in his crib no matter how much me and my partner try. We feed him at the correct time, comfort him but he just won’t settle down. What do I do?
