Has anybody done the cry it out method for their 6 month old? How did it go ? Is it effective ? And how long did it take ?

Never did cry it out. My baby is 21 months and sleeps through the night I think your baby knowing you’re there when they need you is so important. They stop crying because they realize no one is coming 🥺

I tried it once when my son was around 4 months… I cried the entire time and regret it to this day (he’s 2 now). He was waking up every hour so I was feeling desperate. But he grew out of it quickly after that attempt and started sleeping longer stretches.

Nope not my thing, they eventually sleep through the night.
Look up the studies conducted in Europe about that method(there pretty eye opening).

Wake windows and sleep training. Both my boys sleep 10.5 - 11 hours 🙈

never have done the cry the out method , it breaks my heart and personally i don’t think it’s good for their development . i have tried to help him learn to self soothe in certain times though and i do think that’s helped .
So guys the day ive dreaded for a long time happened today. It was exactly the same as every other morning except this one day my little one somehow managed to move across the whole bed and tumbled off it. The standard pillow fort waa there but somehow he missed it. I truly don't have a clue how but now im petrified of closing my eyes in the morning. Please confirm that this happens all of the time and that I'm not a bad mum.

Baby loves sleeping on their side / tummy and gets up a lot more when placed on back so I’ve leaned into it and don’t always put them on their back anymore. Just wondering if anyone else does the same

Mums, how did you get your newborn to sleep in their Next to Me crib? My little girl falls asleep perfectly in my arms but the second I put her down in her crib she wakes up crying! What worked for you? Any advice or tips 🙏🏽

Does anyone else feel like because you've had a baby people forget you've had major surgery at the same time and you should be over it quickly. I feel like even in the hospital you are just in and out which wouldn't happen with normal surgery. Partner says things like oh I am sure you will be alright! I don't think people really understand.
