Hey - I’d love to know what your babies are saying at 13months?
I’m so impatient for this phase and know to at every baby is different but would love to know what others are saying. My baby is an amazing walker/runner and understands a lot. They have just started saying mama and dada and using baba to say bye bye etc.

Mama, dada, hi, bye, cat, ball, one but she almost sings it woone 😂 it’s so cute.

Mine seems very selective with his words. He seems to just always say dada for everything, but he can say mama, nana, bye, hiya and I think he's starting to say "this" as well. He has a much better understanding of words and instructions though and like yours runs and walk really well for his age

My little girl is the same as your little one… says mama, daddy and mil for milk. Feel slightly worried but trying hard not to compare. Shes not walking like yours yet though!

13month old says mama (only when really tired, hungry or just wants me) dada constantly and when pointing he will say “dat” meaning that. But, nothing else! Just babbles so many diff sounds however he is fully walking properly now and doesn’t stop at all he’s on the go 24/7. All babies are different, I’m trying not to compare but it’s so hard xx

my daughter is almost 13 months, she's not properly walking yet but she has taken steps she just doesn't seem super confident lol. but she says catch (as in catch the ball), she's obsessed with ducks so 'quack quack' is a very passionate one, she throws things and says 'gone' with her arms up, the usual mama dada baba for baby, tickle and car. she does babble a lot of other stuff that's not very comprehensible lol

Mines saying mama, dada, bubba/baby, dog, nana, ball, hello, bye bye, bot bot for bottle, she’s also obsessed with saying “what’s that” to everything 😅 but she’s not walking yet only around furniture so they do all do things at different paces 🩷

My boy says dada, nana, mama, yes, no, hello, hi and ta. He’s not walking yet (I’ve caught him standing without holding on). He also follows instructions well

Just mama and woofs like a dog when she sees or hears one 🤣. Has a good understanding though. Not walking yet but very mobile
My little girl is 2 months tomo and I currently have to rock pat and shush her to sleep. If I dont put her to sleep she will stay up and be extremely overtired. I cant even sit and rock she will fuss and cry until I stand up. I see others put their baby in the crib and they fall asleep themselves and mine is not capable of doing that. Its so exhausting and even if shes too young now I would love some advice on other peoples experience on how they moved away from rocking their baby and started encouraging them to fall asleep on their own/using other cues to help them fall asleep. She doesn’t like being swaddled and refuses the dummy she will make faces and gag so they dont help.

So my daughter is turning 1 in November and she’s so tall for her car seat but I know she’s still too young to be in a forward facing one. Her feet have to be in an awkward position and I’m just unsure on what to do.
Does anyone have any car seat recommendations or something else I could be doing to make her more comfortable?
Thank you 💕

Hi everyone! ❤️
I have inverted nipples, and unfortunately, I wasn’t able to breastfeed my first son for very long due to health issues and difficulties with latching.
I know there are pumps and other options available, but I’d love to get some support and advice before my second baby arrives.
Does anyone know of any local breastfeeding support groups or services? I’d also love to hear from anyone who has experience breastfeeding with inverted nipples. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! 🫶

Ive seen alot of comments about prep machines and the rapid cools.
My feeding consultant told me to put the powder formula in after the water but then surly the cooler water mixed in from the prep machine then wont kill the bacteria in the formula? We have a tommee tippee prep machine but if i put the powder in before or mid way the water always goes higher than what im wanting but then if I put it in after is it then not safe?
In regards to the rapid cool im unsure what the best way to use it is. Im a FTM and just not sure what is safest and best for our boy.

Does anyone use a white noise machine for day time naps? We play white noise at night, but haven’t done it in the day yet. Just thinking of whether it will help our baby to sleep in the day better…
