My husband’s car broke down yesterday, so it’s currently in the shop getting fixed. This morning, I drove him to work. He normally starts at 7 a.m., but because I also have to take our son to school, I asked him if he could start a little later. He had no issue with that at the time.
Now tonight, his boss, who lives near us, offered to give him a ride to work, and his dad also offered because they’re heading in the same direction. Despite having those options, he’s insisting that I take him and that he needs to be at work for 7 a.m.
I asked him why, because that would mean I’d have to wake up around 5 a.m. and wake up both kids, including a baby and a toddler, just to drive him to work before taking our son to school. When I tried to explain why that would be difficult for me, he started going off on me, saying I make his life difficult.
I eventually got fed up and cussed him out too, because I was tired of being spoken to like that when I was simply trying to explain my situation. Now he’s stomping around, huffing and puffing, throwing a fit, and I’ve just walked away because I don’t want to keep arguing.
What frustrates me the most is that I’m already trying to help him out while his car is being repaired. He has two other people offering him rides, but somehow I’m the one making his life difficult because I can’t accommodate the exact time he wants. I have two young children to take care of, and my time and sleep matter too. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect him to consider that instead of making me feel guilty for not doing everything his way.

Not in the wrong. If he wants to be at work at 7am, then he should have said yes to the other offers. That way it doesn't affect the children's schedule.

You aren’t in the wrong. He should accept those other rides or walk🤷🏾♀️

How is your nervous system feeling?
I had the worst day with my 3m old. She literally cried non-stop and was super fussy, she’s had a tummy bug today so that’s probably why. My partner came home we had a tiny bicker but it resolved itself in like 2 minutes. She was then fussy and only wanted me till he did the bed time routine. I asked him if we could watch something even just an episode before we go to bed because I know he has work so doesn’t want to go to bed too late. He responded “no I’m gonna read”. I said “please I had the worst day and my anxiety is through the roof, I keep feeling anxious every time she’s sick” (FTM btw). He said if you’re anxious you can talk to other people or if you’re that stressed call the GP. While I know they are valid options and suggestions, it just felt so dismissive.
I really have struggled with anxiety all my life, especially as a child, rocky childhood etc and I feel like it’s elevated with having a baby (I’m always at home with her during the week alone). I’m going to bring it up to my GP at my next appointment, but I do feel so neglected by the situation with my partner. He is doing what he wants meanwhile I haven’t had a single interaction with a human that speaks back to me all day.
I just left him to put the little one to sleep but inside I feel so hurt and pretty isolated. I’m not sure if I’m just being overly sensitive but it sucks.

I feel like I’ve slightly checked out of my relationship. We have a two year old and a 5 month old. We have had some issues in our relationship and my partner has mentioned a few times how he is desperate for affection and attention and jokes about seeking it else where but it quickly becomes serious. This plus many other issues have pushed me away. I’m breastfeeding and don’t have much interest in sex or even kissing. When he touches me my whole body tenses up and he keeps pushing me further away. I feel bad for him but it’s also a result of how he has treated me. I’ve been thinking recently how we just are not aligned. I want to go out and do nice family things together but he doesn’t want too and is just not a fun person. Like I am a very lively happy go lucky person and he has turned me into a quiet girl that never sees friends etc. I feel like we are on different waves and just holding onto hope😩
So basically the way he has treated me along with his personality traits got me confused. Any advice or words of love would be greatly appreciated ☹️♥️

Would you ladies tell me if you think private Christian schools are better or worse compared to public school systems?

ftm here, i feel so guilty typing this out, i went to my kitchen to get a sterilised bottle ready for his feed, i put him on my bed but in the moment looking back it seemed careless but i wasn’t gone more than 20 seconds, normally if i place him on the bed and he’s in the middle he doesn’t roll off he does roll but not double roll, i didn’t expect to come inside and see him screaming on the floor i was gone 20 seconds if that. i picked him up instantly and he went quiet and calmed down back to his happy self and gave him the milk. anyone else done something like this and felt so guilty, it definitely taught me that sometimes babies surprise you with new tricks🥲

My boyfriend & I have a 1 month old newborn baby girl. He works full-time day hours (right now 8hr shifts but starting 12s soon). I work part-time afternoon shifts, only 4hrs each for 3 days a week. When baby wakes up for night-time feeds I'm the one who sacrifices sleep to care for her so he can sleep for work. That means all night I'm up with her and all day I'm tending to her as well until he gets home. Even when he is "helping" I still end up doing most of the load. He gets VERY easily frustrated when she fusses & cries. (Which I get it, I'm frustrated too) but he gets so mean when he gets in that mood. Complaining about never getting a break & even complaining about the dog (who is very very attached to me).
Tonight I expressed how it was super unfair of him to constantly get angry and complain about not getting a break when he watches her for at most 4hrs while im gone and IM the one who does the heavy lifting and gets maybe 2hrs a DAY of sleep.
Now he's making me out to be the bad guy because I expressed how him getting angry made me feel. Yelling at me that he will quit his job then and stay at home full time and I can figure out a way to pay for everything. That he moved states to be here with us and I should be grateful for him sacrificing everything he had back home for us.
Am I in the wrong? Am I being too sensitive?
We don't have a lot of help around here. My mom would love to help, but lives an hour away and works full time so she is very limited on what she can do for us.
I dont have any mom friends (or really any friends in general) who I can talk to or just hangout with to get out of the house.
I feel as though I'm tipping over my breaking point. I want to scream, I want to cry. I just need help, and the one person who should be equally as responsible for baby girl, is letting me down and making me feel so insignificant in this time...
