How are we coping? I feel at my whits end with cooking /making /buying things all for him to spit it out, cry, clamp his mouth shut, face away etc etc đ
âFood before one is just for funâ they say - but yet I also see things like âthey must be getting fish twice a weekâ - â3 veggies per dayâ , âplenty of iron rich foodsâ - so which one is it !

Itâs stressing me out aswell and I have twins so double stress đ they try couple of bites but they are 10 months now almost 11 and would think they should be eating a bit more by now as itâs crunch time until they are 1 and food will be more important so I donât know what to do! đ„Č

Same, have you tried the Heinz 6 month purées and the 6 month porridge that worked for us nothing else will go in. We have been referred to Solid Support with our son via HV

My girl eats things like the 6+ porridge she prefers the banana one, scrambled egg with cheese, boiled egg smashed up, pancakes, bits of toast, baby biscuits etc and the small yoghurts but anything like actual food/meals etc she refusesđits so hard as shes quite fussy. I worry shes not getting enough etc and its very hard considering shes meant to be coming off bottles in less than 2 months đ

Apparently, around now you want to get them used to 3 meals a day ready for their transition at 1 years old to be fully on solids... but it feels like you spend all day prepping food for them to take 1 bite and throw the rest!!
I adore cooking, and I adore making their cute baby portions but reality is youre being screamed at the whole damn time! I feel like im in Gordan Ramseys hell's kitchen and he hates my dish đ€Łđ€Ł

Right here!!! đđœââïž Honestly, I've actually been stressed about it all. Haven't got a clue what I'm going to do when he goes to nursery in a few months.

Oh donât worry about a spoon let him enjoy dipping in his fingers or give him a spoon and you have a spoon and try that, I also had ms Rachel on at the same time sometimes distraction is key
Need advice on what to do with this situation⊠I really regret my 18 month olds name and have done for a while. When he was around 6 months this feeling started and at around 8 months I discussed it with my husband and he said he wasnât that keen on the name on the first place but he just came round to it because I really liked it. He said well that is his name now he responds to it etc and everyone knows his name so I thought weâll just leave it now and maybe this feeling will go away I thought it could also be post partum related. Fast forward a year I still donât like it and I cringe when I call him or anyone else says it and I wish I wouldâve persuaded my husband to change it back then (I think he wouldâve eventually) it wouldâve been so simple then to just amend his birth certificate as he was under 1 and looking back he was still really young for people to get used to the change now itâs a case of changing by deed poll and he seems too old now. Has anyone else been through this? What do I do?

Iâm 38 weeks pregnant and really struggling.
My little boy is 23 months and he has turned into an absolute nightmare. the tantrums are so extreme and itâs like walking on eggshells with him. Itâs like he is so fragile and emotional and ANY little thing sets him off. He goes to nursery/family 4 days a week and is fine there but Iâm finding myself dreading my one day off with him. Iâm trying to ignore the tantrum and reward when he stops rather than giving in but I donât know how to handle this in public when everyone is looking and heâs running away from me. I canât just pick him up kicking and screaming due to being so heavily pregnant.
Heâs definitely worse for me than his dad and others but itâs just so mentally draining, I feel so flat and down about it and it feels like everyone around me isnât struggling at all with 2 or more children and I keep thinking if I canât even cope before the baby is here how am I going to cope with 2?
Feel like such a failure.

My baby is almost 11 months old and itâs still such a battle to get him to eat food. Iâve tried purĂ©es and & finger foods.
I donât see how heâs going to drop his formula at 12 months if heâs not eating solids?
Is this something is should chat to the gp about? He often cries and has a tantrum everytime heâs offered food

Very nervous about starting solids the right way! Also making sure itâs variety of food, allergens etc. Could someone recommend a guide I could follow day by day week by week to start?

My 7 month old refuses to hold food in his hands for more than 5 seconds and doesnât reach for food, he eats realllllly well if I spoon feed him but heâs not interested in picking food up to eat himself he holds it puts it to his mouth then either throws it on the floor or drops it down his front, almost instantly, iv tried to hold off spoon feeding so as heâs hungry enough to want to feed himself but he just screams until I feed him đ©
