Honestly co sleeping is the only thing that helped mine - it’s still there but so much more manageable. I follow the safe sleep 7 for doing it from the Lullaby Trust. Also avoid as much as possible reading about it as it just makes the nights a lot worse as you start thinking about it when it’s quiet.

I didn’t over dress her I was so worried she would over heat. She does run warm and didn’t take to sleep bags or full sleepsuits she hated her feet covered. We co slept from 6 months and still are at 17 months and she used to wake every 2-3 hours so I knew she would wake us. But I was a nightmare when she was younger I would end up waking her up as I was trying to check her temperature and every night I would google what to put her in for sleep.

I did have an owlet but for me I would compulsively check it to the point where I wasn’t sleeping and I was staying up all night to watch it. I had to get rid of it. I haven’t found something else yet that works for me except that I got a good baby monitor.

That anxiety that keeps you checking, also helps to protect against sids. But as time goes by and you realize they are perfectly healthy and growing, and as the need for sleep catches up with you, the feeling will pass.

Understand too that sids is incredibly, vanishingly rare. Like obscurely rare. We hear a lot about it but it's highly, highly unlikely to happen.

How to change baby’s sleep cycle? HELPP

currently my LO (7 months) bedtime is 12am to 7am wake up for a feed then goes straight to sleep and wakes up around 10:30/11am. Has two naps in the day the latest ones around 6-8pm. It works for me because I sleep at the same time as her. But I don’t want her to sleep like this forever.. anyone had the same issue 😩 NEED HELP on how to adjust it and push back her bedtime to an earlier one or will it happen naturally …?

Getting sex life back!

11 months after having a baby and we had sex probably twice or 3 times I can't even remember. I love my husband so much that i feel sorry for him. I have zero libido but I don't mind trying, it's just the thought of it makes me feel sick like I have never had sex before in my whole life. If someone was in the same place what did you do? I co sleep and breast feed for context.

Help, at my wits end

My little boy is 5 months old. From two weeks old he's been an awful sleeper, whenever we put him in his next 2 me crib he would be so active (leg slamming, arms flapping, rubbing his face) that it would wake him up after 20 minutes or so. When he was about 2 months old me and my partner started sleeping in shifts so one of us could sit up and hold him. A month ago I started co-sleeping with him to just try and get done extra sleep overnight but to be honest, it makes little difference. I'm currently up for the 3rd time in 4 hours, I'm lucky if ever get more than an hours sleep next to him. My partner has him at the start and end of the night so I get a few hours then but it's really taking its toll and we're both extremely sleep deprived. I guess I just thought by 5 months his active sleep might've calmed down but if anything it seems to getting worse the last few nights, and he will only sleep being held.

I also miss my partner massively, we've not slept in the same room for months. I feel like I've missed out on that lovely part of being a new mummy and having baby in the crib next to us, and nights have just become something to dread.

Haa anyone else been through this with their little one and when did it improve? It feels neverending at the moment and I just need to know it will improve at some point.

Baby’s grunting and snuffling

Is it normal for a 3 week old to still be grunting and loudly snuffling when sleeping?! My baby boy is quite loud and I thought this only lasted a week or so after birth 🤔
