The fisher price little people play sets seem popular im getting my baby a few for later in the year

Tonies box. Will grow with the child as well as different figures and games for different ages.

We got a yoto mini for my daughter when she was 20 months for Christmas, she still uses it almost every day now. Life saver for car journeys. It’s like a tonie box with a better price point and more transportable and able to grow with them, it’s cards rather than figures.

Role play sets are usually nice and they learn to play more purposefully as they grow. My daughter hated the dr so we got her a little vet set with the stethoscope and things and it really helped her, she’s also got a dentist set. Play food(ones you can chop are good) is always a win as well!

Am I wrong?

My husband the past 2 days has come home from work after being gone all day and as soon as he comes in the door says he’s going upstairs to work on his leg that has been tight and aching. And left me to get the kids dinner, and do their whole bed time routine alone because it’s taken that long for him to do his stuff. When I had a problem with it he acted like I’m the bad guy because “he’s been gone all day and not had a minute to himself”. Am I wrong for being upset???

Pleaseeee be honest because I’ve heard so many contradictions, does sucking thumb mess up toddlers teeth in future? If yes, how do I stop him doing it!?

Feeling pretty down tonight

I am 36 and about to have my 3rd baby. The father and I didn't work out. I'm feeling pretty down about that tonight & idk how to lift myself up from it. I am almost 40 and have never had anyone actually choose me and love me and at this point I dont think I will ever feel that. Each of my kids have different fathers, the first isnt involved at all, the second is sporadically involved, and the third hasn't been there for me throughout this entire pregnancy. He's been around sure, but its only for the baby. He never actually chose to care about me. I'm just tired. Tired of always being dismissed or walked away from. Tired of having to spend this life fighting and surviving. Tired of not having anyone to turn to for support. I have no friends and hardly any family. I just feel so alone. & idk who is going to want me after having three children with three different fathers, plus having a newborn at 36 years old. . I just want it to end already.

Feeling deflated

For context I am a fully qualified early years teacher and I am more than competent in teaching and looking after my daughter.
We recently got a confirmation that our daughter can start nursery in 2028. (She will be 2) however I’ve realised I’m not comfortable with this (history of working in nursery’s and knowing what happens behind the scenes) and also I can simply do it all myself and I am happy to.
My husband tells me that he wants her to start nursery then and not stay home and let me care for her because she needs to go to nursery. I don’t understand why he would rather send her to be cared for by random people when I’m a stay at home mum and qualified to do it myself.
I also don’t really see how he gets much of a say in it (outside of just a general opinion) as it doesn’t affect him at all whether she is home with me or at nursery as I’ll be doing it all anyway? And he will be saving money if she doesn’t go…

Parents who have not sent their child to nursery can you comment experiences.

First birthday

Has anyone started thinking about what they’re doing for their little ones first birthday? We were going to do a party but because I’ll have only just gone back to work we just can’t really afford it. Obviously we want to do something special. We live in Staffordshire if anyone has any ideas!
