How many feeds?

How many feeds is baby having overnight?

Baby is nearly 7 weeks old. He tends to fall asleep downstairs on one of us around 8pm, then when we go up to bed around 10-11pm we give a bottle of formula.

He then sleeps until around 2-3am when he wakes for a nappy change and a breastfeed. He will then go back down until around 5am when we do another change and breastfeed. At this point he gets quite fussy in the next to me so I tend to bring him into bed with me to get more sleep until 7-8am

Same as yours tbh. Pretty much spot on but can usually get him to sleep until 7, but sometimes he does wake up around 5

I take mine to bed for 7 and he's asleep by 7.30, he then wakes around 11, 2 and 4/4.30 then wakes for the day around 6.30/7

Our boy is only 4 weeks old but is almost exactly the same as yours. He's formula fed so my husband does the first 2 evening feeds and I do the early morning ones

My girl is 8 weeks and pretty much exactly same as yours but towards the end she is quite gassy and gets agitated.

7 month regression?!

My baby has usually slept through the night, until now... She wakes at least once or twice through the night. She won't settle unless I feed/or rock her back to sleep.

I've heard of different methods to help them self soothe back to sleep.. how do you manage this? She just doesn't want to settle, sometimes she is awake for a few hours before finally sleeping again. And sometimes she wakes as soon as I lay her down which then sometimes takes me another hour to settle.

Bras after breastfeeding

Can anyone recommend some good bras now that I’ve finished breastfeeding and I’ve got 2 half empty sacks? 🤣
I’ve tried the brands Lounge, Boux Avenue (no underwire) and NEXT (underwire.)

They either slip underneath during the day or towards the middle 🥴💕

Baby found voice

My 10 month old has found her voice, it doesn’t bother me during the day of the pterodactyl screeching or weird sounds but for the last week now she will not go to sleep when it’s bed time, she’s up hours on end making sounds. Did this happen to anyone else’s baby? Did anyone find a way to make them go to sleep ?

At a loss

I am 13 weeks pp and prior to having my baby my husband and I were having issues. But having a baby has heightened those issues to like 1000%. Since I have known him he wants to spend like almost 100% of his free time gaming or watching sports which cool not a big deal when there wasn’t another human to care for. Now we have our son and he still acts like this. Since my son has been born I have been unable to shower but like 2-3 times a week. And generally speaking haven’t been able to do anything for me which you know having a baby fine you aren’t the primary focus anymore.

But my issue is he complains he doesn’t get time for him and yet my ppd is getting bad. Like so bad I genuinely don’t want to spend time with people anymore and like my entire existence is stuck in this survival mode. I have tried expressing this to him and it doesn’t seem to click how bad I am. I started seeing a therapist around 5w pp because initially i was dealing with issues with identity and just feeling like a person. And even she has noticed a shift in the last few weeks. I didn’t even notice really notice how bad I had gotten until she asked me this last session how are you really….i just broke. I cried. Because I’m just not okay.
I’m not okay because everyone who was my friend ditched me or lives too far away, I’m not okay because talking to my husband doesn’t help, I’m not okay because somewhere along the lines I lost me. What is terrible is now I don’t even want to be around people. I don’t want to talk I don’t want to open up. I just want to be left alone. I guess I’m posting this because I need to know I’m not alone in this. Having a husband who is oblivious to what you are going through and having no one to talk to on a day to day basis.

My last attempt to get some
Normalcy was last weekend when we went to one of my friends kids birthday party. The whole time my husband was talking. With one of her friends husbands and didn’t allow me any time to catch up with my friend and the whole ride up there (30 mins) my baby cried and screamed while I drove. What was supposed to be time out of the house for me to catch up and chat a little with my friend ended up being torture because now I had to care for my baby the way I always do just out of the house and away from the comfort of my own home. And now I’m just done caring about trying because why care when this happens every time

Talking Stages?

My 2 year old says some words but I can’t get him to start full on talking yet. I’m reading, flash cards, pointing and saying anything that catches his attention but he hasn’t like grasped it yet. He understands a lot, can follow directions, fast learner in all other areas but idk what else to do the. Rely on gods timing. Starting to work with a speech therapist next month but was seeing if anyone had other tips for a first time mom.
