2 eggs collected

I'm in search of some success stories after only 2 eggs collected. I'm 41 with low amh and this is my 5th round of IVF. I don't know how many are mature yet, only had the collection today. But anyone out there that can give me some hope... please, I really need it xx

I'm sure you've seen/heard this at least once, but it really only does take 1.

I've seen lots of examples of people with crazy numbers of eggs at retrieval who have gone on to have few, if any embryos, and some with much smaller numbers of eggs retrieved who have gone on to have 1-3 quality embryos for example that then led to a healthy pregnancy.

Try to keep yourself busy over the next few days to take your mind off of things a bit. Easier said than done I know. Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻 x

I was 40 and low AMH and had 6 eggs collected and after fertilization we had 3 and PGT testing 2 were normal . First round worked and my daughter is 3 and we have our boy embryo in freezer and we have our consultation with our fertility doctor next month to start the embryo transfer process to have our baby boy . Miracles happen girl I’m praying for you

Pregnancy test

Has anyone had a false negative pregnancy test but actually turned out to be pregnant?

Any advice please!

I’m white, and my fiancé is Black, so our son is mixed. With the world being the way it is, I worry about having the conversations with him someday about racism, police interactions, and how to keep himself safe. As his mom, one of my biggest fears is losing my son because of the color of his skin or an interaction with a police officer.

My fiancé doesn’t feel like it’s something we need to worry about right now and thinks our son will learn about racism as he gets older. I respect his perspective, and I don’t want to push him or act like I know what it’s like to experience racism as a Black man when I don’t. At the same time, I feel like these are important conversations that we need to be prepared to have with our son.

For other moms in interracial relationships or raising Black and mixed-race children, how have you approached these conversations? At what age did you start talking about racism and police interactions? Is this something I should leave primarily to his dad to teach him, or is it important for me to be involved in those conversations, too?

I want to protect my son, prepare him for the world without making him afraid of it, and make sure he always feels loved and supported. I would really appreciate hearing your experiences and advice. ❤️
