We had an evening routine from 2 months old - bath, bottle, bed starting at 7pm and the baby was asleep by 8pm. She did start sleeping through the night as well, not saying that is normal as i know most babies still wake for a long while. We gradually brought the bed time earlier as she got older, and now the baby will let us know around 6:30 that she is ready for bed. Each baby is different and they say babies cant know routine, however, i do think its good to try and build the sleep association from an early age.
We are only just getting a daytime routine for naps though now that we no longer breastfeed through the day xx

It really depends what your life looks like, my daughter started sleeping through the ‘night’ at 3.5 months older, so she would sleep from around midnight til 6am.
I never had routine as such but I didn’t follow no “bed times” as I feel that’s where things can go wrong, and baby gets their long stretch from 7pm-12, then waking all night for feeds instead of having their long stretch when you sleep.
Every persons needs, and baby are so different so it does depend on what you’re looking to achieve xx

I start getting bath and bottle ready around 6:45 , bath then baby massage which he loves, then bottle he’s is asleep by 7:30 , then his first wake usually between 1:30-2:30 then again at 6 am then we are up for the day xx
I'm SOO worried. I am exclusively breastfeeding my son who will be 6 weeks old on Saturday. He feeds every 3 hours usually (I set an alarm through the day and night but also feed whenever he shows hunger cues).
My phone died in the night and my alarm didn't go off and he's gone 7 hours without a feed. He woke and fed normally for half an hour but I'm worrying. He's never been that long without a feed before.
I contacted my maternity ward and she didn't seem worried but I'm wondering now whether I need to feed every 2 hours instead of 3 to ensure he has enough feeds in 24 hours.
Sorry for the LONGGGGG post!

I’ve had 1 natural birth and ended up with a grade 2/3 vaginal prolapse. They won’t operate due to my age and severity and pessaries either fall out, don’t help or are too painful to insert (cube). I feel really sad about it and now we are in the season where everyone is getting sick it’s getting worse by the day and there is nothing I can do about it. I obviously don’t want to have sex either because it hurts and I’m embarrassed. Does anyone have any advice on things to help in any way? Super embarrassing and really getting me down now

I had initially put our 13 weeks old baby to sleep but he woke up a few minutes later, so I asked my partner to put him back to sleep coz I had to wash baby’s bottles and just do a bit of cleaning up. Keep in mind I normally start night routine between 7 and 7:30pm. When I went to take over with baby around 9pm I found him fully awake, lights on and he was playing with the baby. I tried to explain to him that we are supposed to try and stick to the routine which I’ve been trying to since baby turned 8 weeks but he got angry walked out and said he would be moving out of the house because I keep trying to teach him how to look after the baby, this is the third time he has made such a comment. I’m just so confused and hurt right now, and I’m afraid he might eventually walk out on me and the baby. What would one do in such a situation?
