Sleeping

I know doctors don’t recommend babies sleeping on their stomach but my baby girl has been giving me a hard time when it comes to sleeping in her crib. I was thinking of trying to let her sleep on her stomach. I really don’t want to cosleep this time around. Any tips or advice?

does she flip onto her stomach herself? or do you mean you putting her on her stomach

I think it’s okay! If you feel comfortable with it, go for it. But maybe try to stay close to her the first few times. Doctors used to recommend the exact opposite of what they recommend today!

And try to put her on her stomach in her bed

She’ll only be a month old on the first that’s why I’ve been skeptical about it . I didn’t lay my son on his stomach till after he was 1

Maybe a hot water bottle under the mattress? Could give the same warmth she’s looking for

Forever the mug

Oh girls I feel like a right mug. I was seeing this guy for a month and a bit, really liked him. He ghosted me last month and he’s just posted about being on holiday with his girlfriend. I feel like a mug, stupid, an idiot. I believe I didn’t deserve to be just tossed to the side, into the unknown like I was nothing. I said this and he’s removed me. It’s so stupid I’m just so gutted because after a devastating breakup the year before, I was so happy I finally found someone I liked and now I’m back to being alone. I mean it must be me right? People just use me as a stepping stone to get what they want. I don’t think I can keep going in this circle. I’m sorry I know this is a rant I just needed to get it off my chest … to a bunch of strangers 🤣🙈

Rant 😂

Is anyone else finding recovery really hard?? I’ve completely underestimated the whole thing and being 12 weeks postpartum now, I thought things would be getting better, not worse. The episiotomy and tears I had are still sore, I’ve got new tears which are so painful, my pelvic floor is shot and I can’t bend my spine backwards.
I’m so so enjoying being a mom and I love her to pieces but I just feel like I can’t fully move on from what was quite a traumatic birth
Rant over 😂

11 month old refusing second nap

I am FREAKING OUT! Today my 11 month old point blank refused his second nap, he ended up being awake for 7 hours and 20 minutes and I know this is too long 😫 but I tried and tried to get him to nap, I tried every 20 minutes from 2:45 till 5pm and he just wouldn’t go down. What the hell is this!? What am I supposed to do tomorrow?!

Blood in baby’s poo

My baby is 9 days old today and he has some red blood in his nappy from his poop. Had taken him to A&E and the poo became normal so we got sent home. Since then it’s happened once again. Does anyone know what this can be? He’s seems himself everywhere else

How soon can you introduce a dummy?

My little girl is only 11 days old, but she needs to suckle on my nipple or her hands to fall asleep. I don’t want her to suck her thumb I’d rather have her use a dummy. She stays on my boob after feeds but gets annoyed by the milk coming out as she isn’t hungry, so I am wondering if I should maybe give her a dummy already but I am worried that I is too early?!

Speech delay in 5 year old

Hi moms, i am looking for some pointers/advices regarding speech delays in 5 year old boy. Its for one of my friends son who doesnt talk much, he does say a few words and hums music. My friend is getting a speech therapy, but its going a bit slow.

Is there any mom who went through this phase with their kids or know someone who had same issue and what were the steps they took to help their kids to be able to speak well.

Thank you very much in advance.
