Baby has been sleeping through the night since 10 weeks old. Is now nearly 14 weeks. I am still frequently up to the toilet through the night and I’m disturbing him. Considering putting him into his own room with the monitor. He naps in it during the day without the monitor and I can hear him as his room is right next door. Did anyone else move their baby this young? 🙈

Incredible that he sleeps through the night so early!! I moved my twins at 16/17 weeks as they grew out of their next to me in our room. They were fine (didn’t sleep well until recently so can’t commment on that) x

I wouldn't put mine in her own room so young ...I think it is too soon

May be worth having a look at the lullaby trust resources about safe sleep, its recommended that babies under 6 months sleep in the room with you as your breathing helps them to regulate theirs- essentially they are still learning to breathe all night and sometimes forget to and hearing your breathing reminds them, keeping them in your room under 6 months reduces the chances of SIDS

My kids both slept through from about 2 months too but we kept them in our room because of SIDS advice.
Our youngest had a breathing episode randomly at that age that I only caught as I was next to him. He was rushed to A&E in an ambulance and it frightened the life out of us but being in the nexttome crib I heard and saw it immediately. If he was in another room I wouldn’t have.
Disturbing him is okay, your noises are a comfort to him.

The lullaby trust say all sleep needs to be in the same room as you including day time naps for the first 6 months

I'm still giving my little one a bottle at around 3am and she's going on 10 months... if he's stirring or easily woken, it could be a cue that he's hungry. From my experience most babies at his age and if he's under 14 pounds in weight still need that feeding. Hope this helps.
I am so sick of feeling guilty and being made to feel guilty. It is exhausting and it's killing me.

I know doctors don’t recommend babies sleeping on their stomach but my baby girl has been giving me a hard time when it comes to sleeping in her crib. I was thinking of trying to let her sleep on her stomach. I really don’t want to cosleep this time around. Any tips or advice?

Does anyone have advice on whether to wake a sleepy baby for feeding or changing clothes? I'm nervous about letting my baby sleep long stretches—what do other parents do if their baby misses a feed or needs changing but is sleeping soundly?

What time of day are we bathing our babies? We tend to feed 6:30am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, 10pm, 3am at the moment. I'm tending to do the bath at 7pm and follow up with milk, which seems to work well for us and helps him wind down for the evening. Just curious as to what others do!
