Hi everyone! I’m 2 months postpartum and trying to increase my milk supply. Currently, I’m getting only around 10 ml combined from both breasts when pumping. I’d love advice on pumping frequency, session duration, pump settings, flange sizes and power pumping. Has anyone successfully increased their supply at this stage? Any tips or personal experiences would be appreciated! ❤️

Have you tried instant oats ? Like over night oats I love them

I exclusively breastfed my first baby and again with my second, I breastfed my first for 3 years so I have some experience! I’d say let your baby cluster fed as much as possible, keep offering them the breast throughout the day for as much as they want. Remember to keep switching which side you feed them from. You can pump afterwards but not for long periods!

Are you exclusively pumping?

The hot chocolate of TikTok !

I’ve managed to increase mine I’m 7 weeks pp ftm & I now pump roughly 300mls a day and before I was only managing like 20 mls or 60mls on a good day. For me I started to eat more protein, especially steak and drink more water. I drank milo hot chocolate and I get instant let downs. Also I tried the Bra pumps and wasn’t for me and the hand held electric one and it was alright but I wasn’t getting enough out. Recently got a hand held manual pump medela and got a correct flang size too (both my nipples measure differently so don’t assume they’re both the same) and it’s been a game changer! In like 15 mins I can now pump 100mls: I probably could do more but I’m also breast feeding throughout & also my son won’t let me put him down lol 😂 he’s literally glued to me lol but Yhh those are my tips! Also when pumping do compression massages too cuz your milk could be stuck. Xx

Also let your baby feed more and pump straight after for loke 5 to 10 mins. Tricks your body that baby needs more milk so you can boost your supply. 3am to 6am is when I get soooo much milk as he has longer stretches of sleep. When pumping trigger a let down first then go for it babe! Ok I’m done now lol 😂 hope that helps my love xxx

Are you nursing or pumping? How long do you pump for? Did you double check you have the correct flange size? What type of pump are you using? Are you getting enough sleep and eating a nutrient dense diet?
What’s the consensus on toughening up nipples before we have our baby to help us adapt to breastfeeding? My mum wants me to vigorously rub a washcloth on them in the shower, and then start using a dry washcloth. This does not sound fun, is it necessary? I want to be able to breastfeed my baby without getting sore. Any mums out there have done this? Or not?

Hi everyone this is a bit out of my comfort zone so please be kind! My little boy has speech delay and we are waiting for speech therapy. If there is anyone else whose child also has speech delay it would be really nice to chat and meet other Mums who are going through the same thing ☺️

Anyone had any success establishing a routine with their little one and getting decent amount of sleep? My baby is 4 weeks and has gotten worse at being able to sleep for long stretches, cries during most wake windows unless held and rocked and only sleeps on the bed with us, hates the cot. Any techniques, tools or methods work for anyone?

I have a 5 month old, he’s keeps weeing through his nappy especially of a night! Doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does it’s strangely on his back left. Family have said it could be from his Willy being up when putting the nappy on but I make sure to check this everytime. Any advice please 🩵
