Speech delay
Hi everyone this is a bit out of my comfort zone so please be kind! My little boy has speech delay and we are waiting for speech therapy. If there is anyone else whose child also has speech delay it would be really nice to chat and meet other Mums who are going through the same thing ☺️

My little boy has speech delay he started speech therapy around this time last year had 6 sessions then another 6 sessions this July and I never ever would have imagined he would be talking like he is now it’s absolutely amazing! He’s gone from saying about 6 clear words to full on conversations.
My daughter has been in speech therapy for a year now! We go through the school district and her speech therapist comes to our house weekly!
Hey, my son has speech delay.... Had a few words up to 3 years old.. did talking toddlers a couple times... And then I had his eyes tested (for a separate thing). A month later you couldn't shut him up.
He was just using all his brains for navigating a blurry world , he needs glasses all the time.
I've advised different members of my family if the kids haven't started talking check their sight... That's what our trouble was.

They told me after the 2nd evaluation that he has a low receptive language. We go to speech therapy once a week for an hour currently and he’s 5 years old now. Been going for 2 years now

Move to own room?
Baby has been sleeping through the night since 10 weeks old. Is now nearly 14 weeks. I am still frequently up to the toilet through the night and I’m disturbing him. Considering putting him into his own room with the monitor. He naps in it during the day without the monitor and I can hear him as his room is right next door. Did anyone else move their baby this young? 🙈

Toughening up nipples before breastfeeding?
What’s the consensus on toughening up nipples before we have our baby to help us adapt to breastfeeding? My mum wants me to vigorously rub a washcloth on them in the shower, and then start using a dry washcloth. This does not sound fun, is it necessary? I want to be able to breastfeed my baby without getting sore. Any mums out there have done this? Or not?

Napping in cot?
Just out of interest. At four months old now, is anyone’s little ones independently napping in a cot?
We can only get my little one to nap if he’s moving. In the car, buggy, walking around with the carrier. Sit down or stop and it’s game over. (Gutted I can’t contact nap, sit and watch Netflix like I did with my first 🤭) He can be fast asleep, lay him in the cot and he wakes up within 5 minutes.
He is currently waking up again every 2 hours in the night but has had some 5 hour stretches. Will sleep fine in the night... 🤔 is it just an age thing?

breastfeeding tips
Hi everyone! I’m 2 months postpartum and trying to increase my milk supply. Currently, I’m getting only around 10 ml combined from both breasts when pumping. I’d love advice on pumping frequency, session duration, pump settings, flange sizes and power pumping. Has anyone successfully increased their supply at this stage? Any tips or personal experiences would be appreciated! ❤️

Sleep and establishing routine
Anyone had any success establishing a routine with their little one and getting decent amount of sleep? My baby is 4 weeks and has gotten worse at being able to sleep for long stretches, cries during most wake windows unless held and rocked and only sleeps on the bed with us, hates the cot. Any techniques, tools or methods work for anyone?
