Heyy so I’m currently waiting on a date for my c-section. How long did it take for you to get your dates and how did you feel being on steroids? This is my first c-section and I’m trying to prepare myself as I’ve been told I’ll have to take steroids 10 days before the c-section date, any tips I need to know for my c section and recovery I’d be very grateful

Not sure about the steroids as I didn’t have any but I got my date at 38 weeks for 39 weeks ☺️ I’m guessing if you have to take steroids 10 days prior you should hear sooner than that I think some people hear about 36 weeks in some areas.
I’ll know when my c section date is when I reach 28 wks !
Depends on where you are. I got told at 38 weeks - and sometimes people get 24 hours notice where I am. My sister got her date at her booking appointment 😂 so can vary quite a bit! Your midwife will be able to tell you what the process is where you are? As someone else has said though if you have to take steroids 10 days before you’ll have to at least have that much notice!

Pregnant 7 months post c-section
Hey mums, any advice I’m 7 months pp and absolutely terrified because I was told to wait o a year before trying for another baby. Has anyone been through this?

Smiling
When did your baby start smiling consistently?
My little one is 10 weeks and we get the odd smile every now and then but nothing consistent.
She was born just over 3 weeks early.. don’t know if that makes any difference to these small milestones being slightly delayed possibly but so desperate to see some more smiles! 😊

How far along are you guys and how has your pregnancy been?
I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow and I just found out at my last appointment a few days ago that I have some type of scar tissue in my uterus and when she did my fundal measurement she said he was measuring 30 weeks. Kinda worried tbh. My next ultrasound is Nov 5 and I'm hoping for good news.

Night sweats
I’m 15 weeks post partum and still getting really bad night sweats. Is anyone else experiencing this? I thought they’d have stopped by now.

So my son is 9 months old and I found out today I am 3+ weeks pregnant. My baby is due in July, my son turns 1 in January. Does anyone else have an age gap like this? How did it work? Are you ok mentally, physically? I'm stressed asf
