Night sweats

I’m 15 weeks post partum and still getting really bad night sweats. Is anyone else experiencing this? I thought they’d have stopped by now.

Mine have stopped now but I realised mine were partly down to a waterproof bedsheet i had on the bed for postpartum bleeding. I took it off, just used cotton bedding and was absolutely fine again!

I went to the doctors about this when I was around 5 months pp. They said it can take around two years for your hormones to go back to normal

I had this but also other signs like constant sweating in the day, overheating, shaking, really fast heart rate on minimal movement and it turned out I had an overactive thyroid from post partum thyroiditis. I was brushing it off for so long thinking it was normal post partum hormones! If it continues there is no harm in asking a doctor about it!

Elective c section Uk

Heyy so I’m currently waiting on a date for my c-section. How long did it take for you to get your dates and how did you feel being on steroids? This is my first c-section and I’m trying to prepare myself as I’ve been told I’ll have to take steroids 10 days before the c-section date, any tips I need to know for my c section and recovery I’d be very grateful

Smiling

When did your baby start smiling consistently?

My little one is 10 weeks and we get the odd smile every now and then but nothing consistent.
She was born just over 3 weeks early.. don’t know if that makes any difference to these small milestones being slightly delayed possibly but so desperate to see some more smiles! 😊

How far along are you guys and how has your pregnancy been?

I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow and I just found out at my last appointment a few days ago that I have some type of scar tissue in my uterus and when she did my fundal measurement she said he was measuring 30 weeks. Kinda worried tbh. My next ultrasound is Nov 5 and I'm hoping for good news.

2 under 2

So my son is 9 months old and I found out today I am 3+ weeks pregnant. My baby is due in July, my son turns 1 in January. Does anyone else have an age gap like this? How did it work? Are you ok mentally, physically? I'm stressed asf
