i have some anxiety about taking my 16 month old trick or treating tomorrow, he just started walking so he’ll be in his stroller for the most part, and he’s really shy with people he doesn’t know 😭. i’m just worried people will be rude or refuse to give us anything, am i overthinking it?
it’s really all about the experience and creating memories (and a few pieces of candy for mama 🥴😂)

I hope you, and your family have a wonderful day. Happy Halloween👻🎃.

I don't imagine people would withhold candy from him! If you go up to the doors with him, I think that could help him have the confidence he needs, because he knows he can trust you, being his mom, as much as the stroller might be challenging if there are steps. No one says you have to go up to those houses if you don't want to, though! I overthink about things at times too. 🫂 I think you'll both have a wonderful time! 🩵

The 1st Halloween my 1st born had she was only about 7 months old. We went on afternoon walk as family and people want to give her candy. The people where sitting on there porch. So you definitely get candy. Also I have anxiety and I just rethink it as it for my kids not me. It for them to experience even if it not great it an activity that will get them out of the house

Don't overthink it, I'm taking my 11month old, it's for memories and some well deserved payment lol finally this baby can pay up for all the care I provide 😂 parent tax

what time are you all going? my daughters normally in bed by 6 but is 4/5 too early?
So yesterday, my son, who just turned 3, pointed to the sky and said “Daddy in the sky”. I was so confused because we haven’t talked to him about heaven or anything like that. Then he said “My family up there”, pointing to the sky. I asked who is in the family and he said “Daddy, mommy, baby Rami” (his name). It freaked me out. Anyone had experiences of your toddler saying weird semi spiritual sounding stuff like that?

How am I supposed to function on a few hours of sleep a night?
I have a newborn and a toddler. My husband is working away and we have no family locally who can help.
My newborn and toddler still wake in the night. One might wake, go back to sleep and then the other wakes. Sometimes they are both awake and take forever to settle.
I can’t nap when they nap as I have to do dishes, washing, put clothes away, tidy up, prep meals, shower and brush my teeth. I cannot leave these as it’s my only time of the day where I can get these done.

Help!
My baby boy is barely 2 months old and he can have some long wake windows. I’ve tried everything, trying to get him to go down when he’s yawning, making the room quiet for his nap, not overstimulating him, feeding him and then changing him before putting him to sleep, swaddling, and rocking him while standing but nothing works.
I don’t want him to get into this routine where he’s up for a few hours before he gets too tired to the point where he won’t sleep.
Any tips?

My baby is 10 days old and have been told he has CMPA. He doesn’t seem to like the formula and struggles pooping after each feed. Has anyone else experienced this is it normal? What can I do to help him 🥲

I'm 8 weeks postpartum, and lately, I've been struggling with feeling lonely, left out, and forgotten. It seems like everyone checks on the baby, wants to talk about the baby, and asks how he's doing, but sometimes I wish someone would check on me, too. 🥺🤍
I love being Ryder's mama more than words can explain, but I'm still healing, adjusting, and trying to find my place in this new chapter of life. It's possible to be so thankful for your blessings and still have days when your heart feels heavy.
This morning, I listened to Still Waters (Psalm 23) by Leanna Crawford, and it reminded me that even when I feel forgotten by the people around me, God hasn't forgotten me. Psalm 23 reminds us that the Lord is our Shepherd and that He can bring us peace even in our darkest valleys. Sometimes, we need that reminder more than we realize. 🙏🏻🤍
I'm sharing this because I know I'm not the only mama who has felt this way. For those who have experienced these feelings postpartum, is there anything I can do to help myself feel less lonely and more like myself again? How did you navigate this season? I'd genuinely appreciate any advice, encouragement, or even just knowing I'm not alone. ❤️

I have a 5 week old and he feeds almost every hour and I feel like he is empty quicker and mostly doesn’t take a full feed. I have heard that the milk at the beginning is watery and digests quicker than the milk that comes later. My question is if I want him to get the thicker milk to keep him stay full for longer how much should I express out before feeding him?
