Help!
My baby boy is barely 2 months old and he can have some long wake windows. I’ve tried everything, trying to get him to go down when he’s yawning, making the room quiet for his nap, not overstimulating him, feeding him and then changing him before putting him to sleep, swaddling, and rocking him while standing but nothing works.
I don’t want him to get into this routine where he’s up for a few hours before he gets too tired to the point where he won’t sleep.
Any tips?

Have you tried taking him for a walk the fresh air helps and motion or taking him out in the car. My cheeky monkey always loves to resist naps and when it gets past her wake window I will give her another milk and take her out in pram once she’s asleep just leave her asleep in pram. If that don’t work il drive round the block. Xxx

By the time they are yawning ideally they already want to be asleep.
How long after waking is he starting to yawn?

my baby was doing the same, i realized by the time he was showing signs of sleepiness he was already over tired. try starting to wind down after just 45 mins to an hour of him waking. start by feeding him like 80% of what he would eat, then burp, change him, swaddle him, and try feeding a bit more while rocking to sleep. babies that young arent able to develop "bad habits" so its okay to feed him to sleep. i also found that lullabys help more than white noise for my baby. - also blackout curtains help!

Change him before you feed him, eating makes them more tired, try white noise, if you have a baby carrier take him for a walk outside in the carrier instead of just holding him while walking, keep the room dark if you can, babys go through regressions every so often and get confused, try to get him to sleep within 45 minutes to an hour of him waking up, past that point is when there to tired to sleep
So yesterday, my son, who just turned 3, pointed to the sky and said “Daddy in the sky”. I was so confused because we haven’t talked to him about heaven or anything like that. Then he said “My family up there”, pointing to the sky. I asked who is in the family and he said “Daddy, mommy, baby Rami” (his name). It freaked me out. Anyone had experiences of your toddler saying weird semi spiritual sounding stuff like that?

So been in hospital for six days today. Following an uncomplicated childbirth, which I thought would be straightforward discharge home. Every time I expect to be going home Something else crops up.
My four year old son is at home with Dad but I feel so guilty and missing him loads. After being told baby’s jaundice levels haven’t improved and he needs yet another heel prick test my heart is breaking and I can feel my mental health deteriorating. Just can’t stop crying. I have also been started on blood thinners now due to extended stay and can’t leave the ward with baby so stuck in these four walls. Literally going insane!
Don’t really know why I’m writing on here guess it’s just a rant.

How do I get my 14 month old to sleep past 5am?
He doesn't sleep well anyways but when it hits 4:45/5am he wakes crying. I manage to get him back to sleep (he's rocked/bounced) but minutes after transferring back into his cot he wakes crying again then he's up for the day from 5:30
He used to sleep till 6/6:30 sometimes even 7!
How do I stop this? I'm tired 😅 he wakes multiple times anyways then he's ready to be up from 5!!
This has been happening before the clocks went back so I don't think it's that.
TIA

Desperate
I have an almost 4 month old who only wants to cosleep. My husband and I want him in his own space for safety reasons. But he HATES laying on his back we can transition him into his bassinet (we have a halo) but then five mins later he’s waking up screaming and will not go to bed. We even tried his swing and same thing happened. We have the dream sack for him as well and that does nothing. We’ve done it all. Does anyone have any recommendations? Please no mean comments. We’re trying to do everything we can and keep him safe but he’s no longer sleeping unless it’s in bed with us.
