Honestly I thought the exact same, only went to work last month, once you are on the go, and doing stuff you dont even think about it, once you stop , that is when you miss your baby, but that is when you appreciate going home, looking forward to it. I leave my little one with his dad or grandad, i am not ready for nursery, just need to find the right person to look after little one then the day go sooo quickly

Is there a job that you can take your child to? I mean even if you work in a nursery, someone else is looking after your child

I don't think many jobs have ever allowed you to take your baby? You can't work and look after a child at the same time....in fact many contracts forbid it when working from home for example.
Even if you work in childcare like a nursery you usually have to work in a different room to your child.
Am I being out of order to my partner?
I have just received my first months SMP pay.
We knew things were going to be tight for paying bills. So to help out financially I have done extra work this month at a second job to help pay a little extra towards bills and to be able to have some extra cash for day to day life.
I must’ve work well this month as I have nearly enough to cover half of our joint bills. However my partner is now saying that I can pay everything I have towards our bills leaving me with nothing, but he can’t spare the extra £200 difference because he can’t afford it 🤯
I’m sorry but I’m feeling this is really out of order and unfair? Firstly I have been out and worked my butt off in a manual labour job, whilst looking after our now 7 month old baby to earn this money to help our family through the next 3 months only to have to carry on paying my usual share of the bills leaving me with absolutely nothing 😤
He can’t see why I have and issue and why I feel so disappointed in his lack of help.
Like am I just too old school in my thinking that a man should be providing for his family?
At this point I feel like I should just return to my full time job and figure out how to juggle working full time whilst looking after our child as she doesn’t go to nursery until January

Hey mamas! FTM here! I’m 2 months postpartum and starting to look into birth control options. I wanted to ask other moms what birth control you use, what you recommend, and what your personal experiences have been like. I’m a little nervous about choosing one, especially when it comes to side effects, weight changes, hormones, etc. I’d love to hear your experiences and recommendations! ❤️
