For those one who had/has a doula.
Do this one helped you before and during birth?

I feel the same what about my doula she just texted nd we met up once about my birth plan
But when I see doulas online they seem more active and im almost due so I dont even care to explain to her how i feel

But its like u almost have to tell your doula what you desire from her

mine helped me before, during, & after for postpartum rn (: i’d choose a different one lol look at other doulas online that take your insurance!

A lot of what we see online is what a midwife would usually be in charge of , a doula usually helps with advocating for you during birth which heavily involves your birth plan but there are other things they can help with but it depends on the doula
