Hey lovely, I'm also having an elective section at the Women's! Just wondering have you had your pre-op yet? And did you get your section date before your pre-op or do they tell you on the day? x

Am also having the same in December at the women's so following for any advice!

I've had two there and they were lovely.
Make sure you take big knickers (at least a couple of sizes bigger than your normal one) so they can sit over your tummy and not on your wound/scar. Elasticated pants are good for the same reason.
I found day 2/3 I felt significantly better than I imagined I could on day 1, and carrying the baby was never an issue. However, if you have a partner/support person, get them to carry the baby in the car seat, move the pram etc so you never lift anything heavier than the baby on its own.

I finally had my first period since I gave birth in May. I’m currently on day 11, and it’s still extremely heavy. This is the worst I’ve ever felt. Honestly, I’d rather give birth again than endure this pain.

I suffer from PGP but the last few days I’ve had a different pain, I didn’t have with my first, there is so much pressure and feels like my vagina is bruised 😮💨 been getting on and off cramping all week but nothing that suggests baby is coming. Anyone have this? 37weeks

Just curious what kind of movements you're feeling from your baby at this stage? Is it more rolling and stretching rather than actual kicks?
I'm just confused about when I should go in and get checked. I've already been in once and everything was fine. I can still feel the baby moving, but the movements are definitely different from before. I know there's less room now, but there's still movement.
I've never really had a consistent pattern in terms of timings, so it's hard to know what's normal. I'm honestly just so tired and feel like I'm constantly worrying about whether everything is okay.
