Hey, im 28 weeks pregnant and last night I was incredibly sick, pretty much every couple of hours. Im not sure if I have a bug or food poisoning? I did have some chow main for lunch from a place in Leeds, then tea was just mash, veg and pork chops but no one else who had that is sick.
Do I need to be checked by a midwife? Its my first pregnancy and im not sure if this means I should be checked over or not, any advice would be appreciated!

You absolutely should. You need to given the right medications asap

I had a sickness bug or food poisoning at 35 weeks back in June, there was a bug going round my sons nursery but then me and my partner had an Indian for tea so had no idea what caused it🤣I rang triage after not being able to keep anything down for around 12 hours and they said see how you are in the morning and asked if the baby was moving as usual which she was so I don’t think they were too concerned but if you’re worried I’d ring as see what they say xx

Just ring triage in case x

I’ve been unwell for 3+ weeks now and was told it wasn’t a maternity problem and that I couldn’t be given any medication due to being pregnant x

I’m 29 weeks and had a horrible case of food poisoning last week (ambulance into hospital), they said I was absolutely right to come into the hospital for checks because anything stomach related / cramps it’s better to get checked out. So always go and make sure!!
I am currently 33weeks, 5 weeks left for delivery, I initially choose induction as my Doctors do not want me to go into labour naturally due to health reasons but since I made that choice at my 28weeks I have not had peace of mind, I have become more scared and nervous, and I am considering choosing a C section at this time. I am having my appointment with my Doctors on 9th Nov I don’t know if is late to change now. Has anyone had to change birth plan at this stage? How easy was it for you pls?

I’m being induced today at 39 weeks due to a medical issue. I wasn’t induced with my first I went into spontaneous labour at 38.5weeks. Can anyone give me some positive words of encouragement who’s had inductions before as I’m a bit nervous 😬

14 weeks today.
Does anyone else have a bump yet? I understand you show quicker with multiple pregnancies but I already feel like a beached whale and the pelvic pain has already started 😠although I have been doing a lot of walking recently.

This is my third baby and I've just been for my 16 week appointment and it was the most pointless thing ever?
She checked my urine and blood pressure. Spoke about my previous bloods results (which I can already see on badgernotes), reminded me about my 20 week scan (which I can see on badgernotes) and then told me she won't see me again until I'm 28 weeks.
I know this is my third, but why do women who are having their second or third child not get as many appointments as women who are pregnant with their first? Issues can crop up in any pregnancy, no matter how many children you've birthed...anyone else feel the same?
