I’ve always accepted that my partner would be earning less than me even when we were dating. He loves me and is a faithful man. Now that I’ve become a mom, I can’t help but sometimes feel bad that he earns less especially coz of my maternity pay. We live paycheck to pay check and renting in London. I’ve brought up to him a few times how we could increase our income, make more money etc. He is so chill just doing his things- work, football, of course he’s really involved with baby which I’m grateful for
But here I am obsessing with future stability. I can’t say he’s not worried at all but I feel like I’m carrying all the mental load

You are lol it’s what happens to women who work most of the time because it’s not in our nature to do everything while they can just relax they see we put ourselves through it so they just do the same they accept what you allow I learned that from my ex it’s the system we live in once you stop accepting it things will change until then no

I don’t exactly agree just because your ex did that doesn’t mean all men do that. My fiancé doesn’t even want me to get a job because we have three kids and taking care of three kids is already stressful enough. He would rather him do two different jobs to make money so I can focus on our children So not all men are the same I feel like if you sit him down and just explain that while he is comfortable just doing the stuff he’s doing that in the long run it would be better for you guys understand no one wants to live pay check to pay check but sometimes for some men they don’t wanna actually acknowledge that their family is struggling because it can make them feel like they’re not doing enough or that they are failing to provide for their family sometimes it’s not that they don’t care or don’t see the situation but it’s hard for them to accept that what they’re currently bringing to the table isn’t enough that’s why communication is important

I understand what you’re trying to say, and I agree that having boundaries and knowing your worth is important. But I don’t agree that we attract everything that happens to us or that someone’s actions are a reflection of what we allow. You can communicate your boundaries, love someone, support them, and treat them right, and they can still choose to treat you poorly. That doesn’t mean you attracted that behavior or that it’s your fault. I also think we need to be careful about generalizing men based on negative experiences. There are genuinely good men who respect their partners and understand what being in a partnership means. Not every relationship follows the same pattern, and not every man’s behavior is the same.

For example:
You can be a loving, supportive partner and still end up with someone who takes advantage of you.
You can communicate your needs and boundaries, and someone can still choose to disregard them.
You can have the highest standards for yourself and still experience an unhealthy relationship.
That doesn't mean you attracted those experiences or allowed them to happen.
He’s 11 months old btw

How many meals should a 7 month old have in a day? I'm still breastfeeding and today I pumped because I have a KIT day and noticed that I haven't pumped much at all. Baby has been gaining weight though and going up in percentiles.

My little one is starting to love having bits of food now but no interest in water, I’ve tried to help him so he knows what to do but he just doesn’t want it. How are you guys teaching them to drink from a non valve cup?

Hello can someone help me please UK based as I’m unsure if it’s different elsewhere.
My child is 2, universal credit have told me when he’s 3 I need to be in 30 hours a week employment but I don’t want him to go into nursery due to not trusting the establishment I’ve seen a lot of bad things so wanted to wait until he’s in pre school but his birthday is February so he won’t start pre school until after 3?
Sorry if this doesn’t make sense and is confusing but my main point is would he have to be in a nursery then before he starts actual school? Which means I’d have to apply now for him to start nursery when he’s 3 and do I get government funded hours?

Any veg combo recommendations that your baby enjoyed? Atm we are getting a few licks, some spitting out and lots of ‘eww’ faces 😅. Does this count as tasting? Also, really enjoying using the spoon as a teether. How is everyone else doing?
Is everyone using a blender to puree the foods or mashing it with the back of the fork?
I’m steaming everything until extra soft so it’s easier to blend/mash with breastmilk..
