I had my 20 week scan today and been told I have a low lying placenta. They want to rescan at 28 weeks to see if it has moved as my uterus gets bigger. If not they want to do an MRI to decide next steps. Has anyone else had this before and what was the outcome?

They planned a c section but by 32 weeks it had moved out of the way so able to carry on and have a normal birth.
I know a couple of people that have had it and one just had a normal c section a little bit early as the placenta would have blocked the exit for a natural birth 🙂

I had it and just had a planned section the week before my due date

I had this but by 30
Weeks had moved so went onto normal delivery. It’s quite common and most the time it does move.
I keep sleeping through my son crying, he is in a next to me. Either I wake up to my feeding alarm or my mum has to come get me up as he won’t stop. I was wondering if anyone else has had this and if so how do I overcome it. I feel so guilty that he is up crying all night and I’m just sleeping.

Wanted to have a vaginal birth so bad as it was my first but agreed to an induction that ended up in a c-section and now I regret getting induced, feeling like I should have waited for my labor to come in naturally. The pain from the c-section was wayy too much after the drugs wore off and I don’t want to go through that again but I want one more kid. Any tips on how other moms got over their c-section births or regret for how their births went in general?

Hi everyone, I’m 6 weeks post emergency c-section and as you can imagine, the 6 weeks check up with the GP was rather useless.
I’m looking at ways to best look after my scar to minimise it, the shelf and re gain normal sensation on and around the scar.
I’ve heard of massages, scar tape, silicone gel … What is it that you do for your scar? Also can I now put body lotion on it? The skin around the area is very dry and flaky as I’ve been avoiding it a lot.
In terms of scar tape, I have time at home but I’m worried it’ll be too sticky and hard/painful to remove, also I have hairs lol on the actual scar since I didn’t plan for it and wasn’t shaved there when it happens and around the scar so I’m worried it’ll pull on my hairs each time I have to remove it. It did with the dressing they put on, it wasn’t nice to remove after 5 days …
Anyway, just your scar care routine and tips would be useful please ☺️

Hello,
So my 4 month old doesn't roll atall.
I try assisting but she just cries it's the same with tummy time too if she's in that position for too long she will just upset.
Is anyone else in the same situation lol. I'm finding it frustrating lol 😂

Hey mamas I had an emergency c-section on Tuesday morning. The burning sensation in my left side seems to not be going away. Standing up and laying down is getting easier but I have the fear I might be pushing it and I really wanna be allowed to go home on Friday. What do you guys suggest? My husband still has to occasionally go to work so he’s not with me and baby the whole time while at the hospital.
