Anyone can recomend a fair insuarence company for motorbike accident, please?

My partner was a victim of the accident, he was driving his motorbike and an elderly man hit him by his car. He had significant damages on his motorbike, thanks God he was wearing protective clothes and only had some scratched and bruises, that was reported. He made a claim, but the person who handled his case ignored many facts, she did not contact his witnes, they did not rush to send an engineer to check his motorbike and at the end they just ignored the report from the engineer where it was obvious that my partner was a victim in this accident..... He is a very good drive, with 14 years of experience. I don't drive and I don't feel safe to be in the car with many people, but I feel quite safe when my partner drives, in fact I trust him our two kids to be with him in the car. He never had any accidents, and this situation very unfair on him where he was hit in a very quite road where quite hard to have an accident if you are a good drive. He felt discriminated and totally ignored, unfortunately I am agree on this.... :( it was an elderly drive, who burned into my partner, damaged his motorbike and could potentially harm him physicaly. Now he will get a compensation and could potentially be a treat to other drivers, it will affect my partner score, he will have to fix motorbike on his own expenses... The woman who handle his case ignored his calls and emails many times and now she just closed his case. Anyone been in similar situation? I feel so sorry for him, he is not lucky in life and this put him down a lot, last few days he is very low in mood. Do you think we can do something about this situation?

Your partner should not have to use his own money to fix his bike, the insurance company would either have written it off/scrapped it, or sent it to a garage to get repaired and they pay the bill. Something is getting lost in translation here.

What type of insurance did your partner have?

Are you and your partner born in the U.K.?

What has the claim been marked as? 50-50? Your partner at fault? Other driver at fault?

Hello, good morning. Thank you for answering. I don't know nothing about this and my partner as well, it is his first accident....
He has 3rd part insurance
No, we are both not born here, I have British passport, he does not
Also his driving license is European
At the beginning it was marked 50-50, but I said he should not have agree to this, as it was not his fault.... They offered it before sending an engineer... Engineer was send after 7 months...
They told him they contacted his witness but did not get answer, when he asked his witness to contact them, straight away they closed his caise...
But from the report and from all his pictures it is just common sence that someone hit him from the back... They just ignore it.

I don't know if now we still can do anything about it?
In this country to solve this kind of issues , you need to have a very good english and knowledgea about the system.. Before I had a Portuguese friend who could have helped and she was brilliant in solving any issues, but after I had my kids she just vanished.

I believe she could not close his case without any warning

5 day old baby sleep! Help!

Hi,
Can someone please reassure me things will get better. My newborn is only 5 days old and will not do more than about an hours stretch in the moses basket/next to me on a night time. He’s formula fed and feeding well so it’s not a hunger wake. He is generally not very fussy and will happily be asleep on us for hours on end. During the day he will happily be put down while we get on with things.
I know they have no regulation of night and day and no circadian rhythm at this age but my first son could go around 3 hour stretches and would be put back down after a feed. He is typically a good sleeper and always has been luckily.

I have NO issue with my baby wanting comfort and to be close to his mummy after being in the womb for so long and me and my husband are taking shifts so we are surviving I am just after reassurance that this is normal and it will improve after a few weeks/months rather than him being a terrible sleeper?!

PPA

I'm 2 weeks pp and my anxiety is through the roof. I ve always been the logical one, calm and rationale. But since bringing my little boy home I have been extremely anxious. My anxiety is mainly that something will happen to him; bed time is horrific because I m dreading closing my eyes.

I dont feel depressed just anxious.

Im hoping im not alone and that someone has some advice to ease those feelings.

Just saw a TikTok that says her 3 month old baby sleeps 8hrs-11hrs per night !!! Brb while I go cry in the corner🤣🤣my baby still wakes me every 2 hours, no matter what I try. We have a good night time ruiteen & I combi feed, but formula doesn’t seem to make her last any longer than breastfeeding. Please tell me I’m not the only one still in the trenches
