Does anyone suffer from endometriosis? My first pregnancy i got relief from it all the way through. This time round my pains are there all the time still and I'm struggling. I know there isn't a lot anyone can do, I guess I just needed a rant. I came off the pill last year and was due to have surgery in March and said if we fall pregnant ill cancel surgery if not have surgery and have a better chance of falling. My surgery ended up being cancelled just a few days after lockdown was announced and then magically I fell pregnant naturally (stage 4 endometriosis and only one ovary and tube) but yeah im really suffering with pelvic pain and pain in my lump in my stomach which has ifs own blood supply now and horrendous rib and shoulder pain which is from the endometriosis on my diaphragm. Im waking in the night with these pains and chest pain front and back. Every single night. 😔😔 im only 21 weeks but as much as I hate wishing time away I cant wait for baby to be here so I can get back on the list for surgery. Thanks for listening x

Random question but how long did it take u to get pregnant both times? My best friend has endometriosis and she's been trying for like a year now

This is what I’m worried about. I’m only 5 weeks, but miscarried in July. The previous pregnancy forced a lump of endo through my belly button and no one can say what it’s going to do during pregnancy. I still have the sharp endo pain just not as bad, but I’m expecting should I be lucky enough to get further this time, that it will be very painful. Is yours in your diaphragm as well? I’ve not had a lap yet, but had it all confirmed via MRI. Xx

Hi Becca, so sorry to hear you've been through a miscarriage. Fingers crossed for this pregnancy 🙏. Yeah I have widespread endometriosis and its on my diaphragm.ive been suffering terrible chest and rib pain in the night. Seeing the docs this morning although I'm assuming not a lot they can do till I've had the baby x

Ladies, I’m so sorry to hear about your pain! How were you all diagnosed with endometriosis? Any specific tests?

I had my first laparoscopy around 13 years ago and was first diagnosed. Since rhen its been surgeries and MRI to find how deep it is in places xx

Hi! I am so sorry to hear you’re struggling. I know this post is from 7 months ago, but I am here to share some advice!
I would look into finding an endometriosis specialist to perform excision surgery (it’s the only way to properly remove the endometriosis) an endometriosis specialist is not a gyn. If you need help finding one in your area reach out and I can help.
Hormonal pills will help the shmptoms bjt the only way to truly get rid of the disease and then follows the symptoms is proper surgery with an endo surgeon! 💛

Hellooo helloo

I am a fellow endo warrior x

I would look into an endometriosis
Specialist in your area to
Properly remove the disease, that will give you the best form of relief as well as long term relief. The only form of proper management is to have the disease removed properly.
An endometriosis specialist is different then a Gyn/ob
Dr Peter Barton smith is in London, but there are many more in the UK. Feel free to msg me if you need some guidance

I have endo and had 3 rounds of IVF with only 2 successful Embryos frozen. I am 32 and want to have 2-3 kids. Any tips on what I should do next?

Hi! I just had surgery on December 3 to treat endometriosis and blocked tubes. Not a fun surgery and this is my first period after it. The stuff I read online says the first period after surgery is the worst but after that pain decreases significantly. I’m hoping to have my first pregnancy soon and I’m hopeful the surgery made my uterus a more hospitable environment lol I even had to have my appendix removed due to endometriosis. I hope you find some relief and maybe consider the surgery to help with the pain.
