It’s my first day back from maternity leave!

I’m very fortunate to have a boss who offers me flexibility! I worked from home while pregnant, and will be continuing to work from home now that my Paid Family Leave is up. My husband has been working from home for a year and a half now, and his work desk is just to the right of this picture! Once she can roll over, we will swap out the floor mat for her play pen! Looking forward to more quarantining with my favorite people — now I can get back to cutting accurate and confusion-free paychecks for our community health center’s incredible providers and staff. 💪🏻💵🤱🏻

That is wonderful! My hubby and I also work at home now. We teach and are so loud that we need to be in opposite sides of the house. At some point, my kids were small and I had a playpen close by. It’s awesome that you get to see your baby grow.

What is your husbands job from home and yours?

My husband is a title analyst for a mortgage title insurance company, and I am a payroll administrator for a Federally Qualified Health Center!

This will be my future set up

I am a underwriter for State Farm I am planning on working from home until the summertime since it's soo many ppl that work in the Hub here in ATL. And girl thank you lol! I want my girl to come early and I feel like she will lol.

Woohoo, sick! 🙌🏻 What do you do that you get to work remotely? Also I’m rooting for four days early for you, 2/6 is my husband’s birthday! 😉

Well done! Im the same but with a 2 yr old and pregnant! Women power 🦸‍♀️ xx

That’s awesome! What do you do from home? (Psst. Her curls are too much!!)

Hahah she is curly! Lol HR and Head of Accounts, boring but works for my family xx

How are you managing with giving time and attention to your baby while also getting your work done? I’m going to be doing a mix of working from home and in an office after maternity leave and people keep saying “oh great that will save money on childcare when you’re at home” and I’m like, well no she’ll have to have childcare because I’m working 🤨😂 just wondering how you’re balancing both without compromising one or the other x

Ah that is helpful to have your husband WFH too, mine doesn’t unfortunately. I’m also salaried, I think I would be stressed trying to manage both but also childcare is expensive 🤣 still lots of time to figure it out, my baby hasn’t even arrived yet haha!

It’s a great question and I think the only thing really making that work is because my husband is also equally working from home / helping with the baby. I’m also salaried, so I don’t have to clock in/out when taking care of her and just need to make sure I’m meeting the duties of my position.

👍Bet working from home makes it easier tho...congratulations!

Definitely does... I was already not working when I got pregnant with my first, so I waited a year to get into the workforce again. 12 weeks feels so early...

I'm looking for a stay at home job so I can stay home with my 3 week old son any suggestions

Hmm, I think the pandemic has lent more validity to the idea of working from home, so I can imagine that there would be a lot of places hiring that would be open to working remotely. You’d probably need to work in person during a training period or something, though. I’m sure lots of call center jobs would be able to do remote work, as well as a lot of business administration (accounting, billing, admin assistants, HR, etc.). If you want to work from home, you’ve got to get in corporate, not stores and branches.

I work from home but I take calls so I’m not sure if this will work for me but I’m going to try! My fiancé doesn’t work from home but he works nights. I’m a first time mom and never had to think about balancing work and a child before but I’m excited 💜

Good luck! She is so mild mannered I’m not concerned about noise or anything, fortunately! It’s hard but it makes you feel like superwoman, especially if you have a partner who values you! 💝

Congratulations on having this time with your family! So happy for you. Hope you guys can do this for years till baby goes to school

I bought it at Walmart on Tuesday! I think it was $25, or $30. It comes with most of the toys attached to it

I am currently working from home too with my LO of 10 months! 🙌🏽

Did you need to be on paid maternity leave while working from home? I want to work from home but work is making me take FMLA so That I can’t work from home.. their argument is that it sets a precedence for others.. and people aren’t happy about it because they don’t like to work 🤣

I'm looking for an at home job if you all know of any..I live in Utah! It's hard with us having the same schedules and we don't want just anyone watching our son with covid and all still. Even family.

I loooove it! So cute!!

I’m trying to get a remote job so I can stay home once I have the baby or after my hrs are up for family act law whatever it is I would miss out on my kid and have to go back in the office. I don’t want to miss out on anything and would rather watch take care of my baby.

Thats a great setup and ur baby looks so comfortable.... Blessings to u mama

This is seriously the best thing I’ve seen! I had to leave my corporate job because I wasn’t able to work from home after having my baby. I’m so happy for you that you can be right there with your baby all while having financial freedom. You go momma!!

This is so sweet xx
