Went for a scan today on my pregnancy following 2 missed miscarriages. She said she can see a heartbeat but there was a small pool of blood below the pregnancy is this something to be concerned about?

So today I went to my midwives appointment and I’m currently 33 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Last time I had my appointment was the 13th April 2026 and my stomach was measured to be 29cm. Today 1st May, I was measured at 36cm. My midwife was shocked and said that it’s grown 7cm in the span of 2.5 weeks and had to re measure it 3 times to make sure. She asked if it felt heavier which I do ofc. She booked me in with an ultrasound scan to see the baby’s actually growth.
I remember my 2nd ultrasound scan at 20 weeks the lady said that my baby was on the bigger end.

Has anyone experienced this before? Do they induce you or tell you to get a c section? I’m so scared!!

University Hospital Lewisham first scan booked and they say I can’t bring my LO! I don’t expect my LO to come into the room but can’t they wait outside with my sister

I have never been apart from my 2yo and we don’t have established childcare in place. I just wanted LO to come with and I respect the rules of that LO cannot come into the scan room. But what about waiting outside while being supervised by my sister. Not even outside the room but just in the vicinity to minimise how long we are apart 🥲 anyone else have any scanning experiences at that hospital?

8w1 day pregnant measuring 5w5ds

Hi, I am 9m pp and got a positive test on 1st April. I had an early scan what should’ve been 6w3d but I was measuring around 5w gestational sac and yolk sac seen… today I went for another scan and I’m measuring 5w5 embryo now seen. I KNOW I ovulated 5 weeks 5 days ago, was expecting to see more. There was a flicker but she couldn’t confidentially say there’s a heartbeat now I’m
So worried we go back on 15th May for another rescan, has this happened to anyone else and everything been ok / not ok?

Blighted ovum?

I was supposed to be 6 weeks 5 days yesterday - went for a scan and the gestational sac was measuring 6 weeks 2 days but no yolk sac or fetal pole… my LMP started 14/3 and my cycles varied from 26-30 days. My ovulation test was positive on the 27th March. I possible ovulation or implanted late?! I tested positive first on 7th April. should I prepare for the worst? :( going back next week for a rescan.

Second early reasurrance scan.

I have had 3 chemical pregnancies and a missed miscarriage ( blighted ovum ) before this. I had a first reasurance scan 2 weeks ago when i would have been around 7 weeks + 1, the scan went well, heart beat seen etc but it was so small they dated me at 6 weeks rather than 7. So i had a second yesterday, for a clearer image and to see the progression and was dated back at 9 weeks + 2, heartbeat seen, baby growing big and strong they said. They were really happy with it. It gave me so much reassurance seeing both scans and does put my mind more at ease, how is everyone else doing around now? :) the symptoms are fun fun fun haha.

What’s the best time to do a gender scan? I want to book mine for 15 weeks but is this a bit early?

So I had a growth scan today at 37 weeks 4days and the doctor told me I had a little too much amniotic fluid is that something to worry about ? Anything I should expect ?

Measuring Earlier on Scan

Hi all! Has anyone else had an early scan and then actually been earlier than they thought? I just had a scan today as anxious about previous loss - I thought it was 6 weeks and 2/3 days but I measured as 5 weeks and 5 days, but we also saw the heartbeat!!! So that was very exciting and reassuring. Just feeling confused about the measuring early thing. I found out when I thought I was 3 weeks and 5 days with a very faint positive on a sensitive test but I must have been 3weeks and 1 day???? Surely I couldn’t have even found out that early😂😂
