I have been applying to so many jobs. Either I don’t hear anything from them or I get an interview and don’t get it. I applied for a job and had an interview which I thought went really well. Found out today I didn’t get it. Apparently I am not qualified to do anything besides work as a sub which I can’t get anyone to give me days. And if I don’t start getting days I have to pull my two kids out of daycare. My 4 year old has come such a far away since she started i would hate to pull her out the year before she goes to school. Or work in daycares which I would love but doesn’t make enough for two kids in daycare.
I just don’t know what to do anymore. I want to go back to work.

Maybe try part time job while you find a better paying position

Take any job, even if it's not in your current field, while looking for something better. That's how I got my current job, I moved from various retail and hospitality jobs to customer service, from there to customer service for a financial company and am now in anti-money laundering analysis with PwC. I started in something completely unrelated and worked my way up to something related to my academic field and absolutely love my job. Originally wanted to join police, even went through the application and selection process for mod police but honestly couldn't imagine doing anything other than my current job now. Have a look at PwC, other big accountancy firms, banks etc so many of these companies have starting jobs that don't necessarily require a specific degree or experience as they provide full training. (And if PwC has something you want to go for, let me know and I can do an internal referral to get your foot in the door. I'm UK but PwC is worldwide)
