So my MIL has my son every Tuesday whilst i am at work. I get everything ready for her milk, food, clothes, nappies the lot. For some reason she has to go into my LO bedroom and pick out different socks. I mean I know they are just socks but it's really driving me nuts and I can't ask her why out of curiosity as she is so sensitive she'll think I'm having a go at her and she can't do anything right.

Just say I noticed that little one has different socks to the ones I got out, did she get them dirty?
You’re not coming for her, you’re just wondering why x

@Jess thanks Jess, I will try that. I asked her once very politely not to feed my son in his buggy as it was covered in spag bol, she got defensive told me she would but her own buggy, then went to my mum and said I shouted and had a go at her. She is seriously something else

My MIL used to watch the baby to let my husband and I nap. She would grab blankets or clothes for my baby from his room even though the room was not cold. We would tell her he only needs his swaddle. So eventually we just started locking that door. No more extra clothes or blankets after the door was locked.

Personally I don’t think it’s worth the energy or potential argument, I’d be grateful for my MIL helping out I doubt changing socks was done with malice intentions x
