So my almost 12 month old hates sleeping in his crib idk why so he’s been sleeping in his pack n play with a mattress and everything, we never co sleeped and he’s great at sleeping on his own but now that I want to transition him to his own room because he is still in our room, he won’t even touch that crib idk why 🥲🥲 I used to have him take naps when smaller but since we were in the middle of moving I stopped, should I just skip the crib and get a toddler gated bed or leave him in the pack n play lol any tips would help

We ended up selling our crib and purchased a full sized mattress to use as a floor bed! My 1yo daughter loves it, and it’s easier for us since I nurse her to sleep.
She’ll wake up from a nap crawl off and start playing with her books or toys in her room! It’s amazing!

i was thinking about that too since we have a queen mattress laying around in his room behind his crib 😂 that is a great idea Mama thank you.

Try to slowly transition him to being in there. Like let him fall asleep in your room and transfer him into his... it might also help to put a tshirt that you've worn (around the house, turned inside out) in his bed so that it smells familiar

Maybe try by bringing crib into ur room first and see if tht makes a difference.
