I was told that babies go through picky phases. Sometimes it's being picky about the kinds of foods and sometimes it's toward food in general. If you have ruled out illness, it could be teeth and you can see if the baby eats after some motrin or teething gel. If teeth are okay, try some favorites or soft foods.
If all that doesn't work, call your doc and make sure there isn't something worse.

⬆️ all this. Tonight, LO straight up refused dinner. We tried:
High chair
Toddler seat
My lap
Outside in high chair
Outside on ground
Eventually, it came down to me having seconds 30 minutes later and him asking for some 🤷
His molar is breaking through. I gave him a small snack when I picked him up from daycare. 🤷 so many options for refusal. We just try different locations and keep it low pressure, but rarely sub things out. It was noodles and asparagus, both things he typically loves, so I knew it had to be something else.

🙋🏻♀️ my guy is the same. He used to eat so well!! He loved sweet potatoes, I made some last night and he wouldn’t even try them, just flung them to the ground. I try to feed him what we are having, but it rarely ends up that way.
Babies are naturally intuitive eaters, so they will eat when hungry and won’t when they aren’t. It’s frustrating and anxiety-provoking, I know!! I try to change my mindset to view his calorie intake on a weekly basis versus daily, which can help sometimes.
