Bub is 10.5 months old. He gets startled easily for noises even though it's not a loud noise. Other day he sneezed and right after I sneezed. He got upset and started crying.
We were reading a book and I said Bee makes buzzzzz that's it. He was upset and started crying.
He smiles at strangers and waves at them, if they talk in little high pitch or laugh. He's upset again.
Sorry for the long post. I'm a worried maama. Please is your little also the same or should I be worried. Please share your thoughts

Our son’s the same way. He *just* stopped crying after sneezes maybe a week or so ago. He’s 11 months, 8 days old. So I suspect they’re just sensitive and will get more comfortable over time, but I guess there’s no way to know until they’re older.

My 6 year old was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3. Around this age, he was actually the opposite.. no response to loud sounds. As always, consult your worries at his next check up. My 10 months old used to FREAK out at the sound of blender, but I kept smiling and distracting him while using it, and now he's fine with it.
