Can anyone offer sleep training advice for my LO (we are not open to cry it out method)?
He will not sleep through the night and takes a very long time to fall asleep as well.

How many times a night is he waking? What have you tried ? Is he getting enough stimulation throughout the day? Teething?
I'm a first time mom so I'm not an expert by any means, however, my daughter is sleeping through the night.i didn't do cry it out. I try to get her outside a couple times a day, make sure she has a big dinner, and then a warm bath. After bath we read stories and then I giver her binky and she lays in her crib ready to sleep for the night. I try to cuddle her for a while and she lays her head on me for a few seconds then pushes me away like and startes jumping towards her crib. We have been doing this routine since she was a newborn but she only started sleeping through the night since 12 months. If she wakes during the night, i try to offer some milk and cuddle for a bit, then she's back in her crib, ready to sleep.
As I mention I'm no expert, but just wanted to share my experiences.

thanks!! He gets yo twice every night and takes forever to get to bed. I’ve tried bathtime and calming lotion without any luck but perhaps I should start making the routine more regimented. He used to always sleep after a bottle but he hasn’t done that since he turned 1 several weeks ago
