Anyone else a victim of abuse from their toddler?! My daughter is very aggressive but can be loving at same time. Idk where she gets it from or why she does it? Any insight on how to minimize it?

I’m trying conscious discipline that I use with my kids at school but it’s tough for 23 months to understand.

I heard someone compare it to Stockholm Syndrome and I’ve never related more 😂😂😂 they’re learning boundaries and what’s appropriate. Gentle redirection is definitely important, but they’ll go through phases as they learn what’s okay to do and what’s not

Daily struggle and people are getting mad about it cause they don’t feel I’m disciplining him enough

I have set to get him evaluated next week because we’ve been wondering, I honestly think he does and I’m struggling to guide him through the boundary pushing and people around us are getting frustrated because we are gentle parenting and what we are doing just feels like it’s not working, feeling defeated failing cause I feel like I’m failing :/

How old are your kiddos? My daughter won’t be 2 until October 26

yes I’m definitely trying gentle redirection but she’s so harsh lol 😆

Currently trying to teach my son that one doesn’t have to hit/push etc in order to give hugs and kisses… he can just give hugs and kisses in the first place 😂

My son can be " violent" at times and then loving other times. Usually gets hitting or kicking during a diaper change or when he gets really tired. But has other times bit the dog or us for no other reason the being a toddler😆 or pushing our boundaries
We try the gentle but at times it doesn't work so we do time out in his room for 1.5 to 2 minutes then will ask if he is ready and explain to him why he was there and that what he did hurt or wasn't nice. Some people are like he doesn't understand what your doing. He most definitely does because when we give the two warnings and says do that again and you will go to your room . He shakes his head no .
I feel like with my son a lot of it is age related and trying to figure out boundaries, themselves and others.

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
