Terrible night of sleep πŸ˜πŸ’”

I’ve just had a big crying breakdown 😭😭😭😭
for the past 2 or 3 nights my LO keeps on crying EVERY SINGLE HOUR !!! She settles then cries again and that just repeats throughout the whole night until she finally wakes up in the morning but last night was the worst i feel.

Im exhausted mentally and physically, i feel touched out, i am hungry, im a fucking mess & im not getting any sleep because im constantly settling her back to sleep or feeding her back to sleep. I really am not enjoying this at all im just losing my mind more and more everyday. I hate doing this alone. I really wish i could run away, i cant live like this , 6 months in I thought i would be better at this by now

I feel so bad for feeling like this. No matter what i still feel like a bad mum.

You aren't alone our baby girl of six months for the last two weeks has been up every 30 minutes to 2.5/ hours. More than that is a luxury.

Being a mom with next to no sleep is bloody hard work.

You have no energy you aren't as happy without sleep. It's normal.

You are far from a bad mom because you aren't giving up and you are with your little girl everytime she wakes up. Give yourself a huge amount of credit for that.

Put your little one in her cot where she is safe and take a shower. It helps. When she sleeps you sleep too. And eat while she's on her playmat because you need the food for energy too.

If she cries then just sit next to her. She will have to crack on because mommy needs time too. Happy mommy= happy baby.

Don't feel bad ok because sounds like you are far from a bad mom.

If you have support use it and take time for you

We're in a similar situation but just know you are a great mum and doing so well by yourself x

How do you feel about co-sleeping? Saved us as my girl wakes up a lot and this way most of the time we’re both half asleep.

Sounds so tough - I’m so sorry. My LO was waking up at night at the same time and I pulled her into bed with us a few nights because we both slept better. She’s back in her her cot now sleeping 12 hours. Idk maybe she just needed some mummy time.

Also, I’ve started sleep training her using the Ferber method which is teaching her how to self soothe and sleep longer and the night wake ups have reduced.

I know it’s a shot in the dark but my lo is like this too, he loves trying to lay on his side so when I put him in his cot I help him lay on his side and he only woke up once when he spat his dummy out.

Maybe that could help idk

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? πŸ˜…

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🀣🀑

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
