6 month Sleep regression

Heyy, my baby boy is constantly tossing and turning all night ! Im so tired and he is too by the morning, ive read it can be when they are going through a developmental stage, which seems true as hes constantly rolling or wanting to sleep on his tummy and trying to crawl at 2am 😢. Just wondered if any other parents have gone through this at his age at all. im so tired.

Literally the reason why i am awake right now, i am so tired ! My LG starts tossing and turning to the point where if i dont comfort her she could possibly wake herself up 😴 she sleeps better on her tummy and has for a while now so i just let her because she has good head control and can turn her head side to side when needed

Yeahh same, today he was so tired just from doing it most of the night i felt bad but he just wouldn't settle completely 😭ive just gone and made him a bottle and of course he's fast asleep now 😂

My little one is 5.5 months and I'm sure we're in the early stages of it. Cries as soon as her bum touches the cot (never been like this) and rolls on to her tummy and cries rolling around. As soon as you pick her up she's out for the count! X

yep i’m also the same with my 6M old. We finally mastered sleeping through the night until a few weeks ago and we’re now back awake by 2am then the usual 5am 🫠 he wakes himself up by babbling, tossing around, banging his legs around. It’s draining and i’m also hoping it’s just a regression stage

Avatar

Same with my nearly 7 month old 😴

Avatar

Glad its not just me although its so draining, i wanna cry 😂just as you get used to them sleeping through

Avatar

Omg yes my LB has been doing this for a couple of weeks now and we are awake just now because of it! It’s 3.30am and I just want to go back to sleep

Avatar

Same here he’s fiditing so much all over the place I have to keep picking him up to try put him into sleep then 2 hours later he does the same not from crying just from trying to crawl with his eyes still shut

Avatar

It’s been happening for nearly a month so sleep deprived right now

My 6.5 month old has been like this for about a month 😂 he used to sleep 10 hours through the night, now im up nearly every hour! and he takes forever to settle after the bottle and then im up at 6.30 with my eldest for school 😴 xx

Avatar

Week until he is 6 months and we are dealing with this for the last two nights. I think it's teething because after teething powder and a small bottle for comfort he settles. He woke at 4am and is currently going to sleep on me whilst stroking my chin 🤣🥰

Avatar

mines still wide awake 😂😴😴 currently chatting away to himself x

Avatar

could he be teething at all? Have you tried little angels bedtime range that's helps us with Austin's sleeping. That before bed is a god send 🤣 x

Avatar

@Emma he's cutting 3 teeth 😴 i can't use any products as he has baby excema and it irrites his skin 😞 x

Avatar

aww bless him have tried teething powder on him to see if that helps. Oh no bless him maybe some lavender and chamomile room spray see if that helps at all x

Avatar

yh tried the Ashton and parsons powder and anbesol, il look into that x

Explains why my daughters been so restless the last few nights 😭 she was born early so I’ve had a sleep regression at 4 months actual, then 4 months corrected and clearly she’s going through one now at 6 months I didn’t realise they had one at 6 months 😭 x

A month !! Omg 😭

My 5month old has had this the last few nights - she was already sleeping on her stomach fine but she seems to be suddenly rearing herself up on her tummy and shouting when she enters the light sleep - also lots of rolling and leg thumping 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ she was sleeping through until 5.30 for a feed but now it’s 7-1am and then awake every two hours after that - I’m assuming sleep regression rather than teeth? She is drooling everywhere and chewing on everything but this has come about very suddenly 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Avatar

I’m struggling with this too. He’s 6 months in 2 weeks time and it’s worse than when he was a newborn xx

Avatar

@Rhiannon same i feel like ive got the newborn tiredness again 🥹 very sleep deprived

Avatar

Same. The last two and a half weeks. She's waking up every 30 minutes to two hours. Anything more is a luxury. Been tired but I know I just have to get on with it and also it's just a phase.

She tried tummy time at all times of the night and doesn't know how to get back into her back so I have to pick her up and turn her over and say it's not tummy time it's sleepy time.

I play white music which helps but ughhh. Last night we co- slept and was much better every 2.5 hours-3. I'm in heaven hehehe.

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
