6 Wk wait

Curious as to how long did anyone else wait to have sex again after birth? Is 6 wks really recommended?

I had sex a week pp my ob said when bleeding has stopped and just practice safe sex

Tbh the only time I waited 6 weeks was with my first all the others I may have waited 3 1/2 or 4 weeks. I really feel like only you know your body and when your ready. Once the bleeding stops and it don’t feel like you just had a baby down there is when I kind of give myself the GENTLE green light

I stopped bleeding the other day and feel like I can

I'm pretty sure we were back at it again at like 4 or 5 weeks and I didn't experience any cramping, bleeding, pain, discomfort, etc. I also had a c-sec though so there wasn't any vaginal healing to worry about 🤷🏻

Girl I say go for it but just ease into it

I think it's worth a conversation with your Dr first 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t wait, I think made it 4 weeks? No big deal if you feel like it’s ok/ it doesn’t hurt

I waited 6 months🥴

You literally have a dinner plate sized wound in your uterus from where the placenta detached. You will get a serious infection if you do not wait the 6 weeks for it to heal properly. It’s not worth the risk I promise!! There are other things you can do until vaginal penetration is safe again.

I did not wait 6 weeks with my first… and now I have 2 babies 10 months apart 😂 my oldest just turned 1 on last week. This time around.. I waited 7 weeks. I waited until my 6 week appointment to be put on birth control and then gave my birth control a week to get in my system. I’m not making that mistake again. Lol. Having 2 babies under one is HARD. If you feel ready, go for it! Just be safe. Neither time hurt for me. But I also did not tear and didn’t have any stitches. Just ease into it, and communicate during it!

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(
