March Mamas! Have y’all started sleep training yet? Our girl just turned 6 months and while she used to only wake 1-2x a night now she’s up almost every 1-2hrs. We’re exhausted and need her to sleep but we also travel with her often which I’m sure has messed up her sleep schedule. We’re home the next 2 weeks and I want to try and get her trained. Is it possible? Any advice? She screams and screams if we don’t pick her up and rock her back to sleep and I feel so bad just letting her lay there crying so I don’t want to do the cry it out method. She sleeps in the room with us in her own crib.

If she used to sleep well then you might wanna consider if it's a sleep regression. I know my son went from sleeping through the night or only waking up once to waking up every 2 hours for two week periods during sleep regressions.
Otherwise I'm just following this to see people's suggestions. I started upping the number of solids my daughter is getting because she's still demanding full feedings two to three times a night.

March baby here who slept okayish is also waking up every 40-60 min all night 😭 following to see what others are going through

Hey! My baby is doing this too 🫠
we started giving her solids closer to dinner but hasn’t helped. Possible its a sleep regression but I still want to sleep train. Not sure if thats possible during a regression though?

I'm trying all the tricks that worked with my son; not moving her from the bassinet, changing her diaper, and giving her her pacifier to go back to sleep, giving her a few minutes to go back to sleep before offering food. It's not working so I'm trying the food now.

My daughter is 6 months and I thought things are supposed to get better! Her sleep is so terrible now…wakes up every 1-2 hours and wants to be held. We don’t know what to do. We tried to sleep train and she threw up from crying after 5 minutes so I stopped it.

I'm so sorry to hear she's panicking. Do you have a bedside bassinet? It took forever for my daughter to be okay sleeping without seeing us.

we do but I’ve been sleeping in her room and it’s still the same outcome.

My son panicked when we first tried to sleep train him and it took a few days to figure out a way to get him to calm down without picking him up. Once we figured that out it was about 2 nights of doing it before he started peeing himself back to sleep.
Not sure that helps.

Not me google Six month sleep regression yesterday to only find this thread with all of us in the same boat 😂♥️ We wanted to sleep train this week but baby girl wasn’t having it, so we’ll try again next week.

Definitely a regression. We were going through the same thing and started sleep training a couple weeks ago.
If she is used to being rocked to sleep I would try teaching her to fall asleep on her own first. You can lay her on your bed during naps and just lay next to her till she falls asleep. If she cries you can offer a paci and gently rock her chest a little bit but then stop and let her try to fall asleep on her own. You can also just place your hand on her.
Once you see she’s starting to fall asleep on her own then you can try sleep training. I recommend trying the smart sleep app by pampers it’s been a life saver!!
