Oh wow no I didn’t know? When I was in the hospital after giving birth they let me have a bath so I assumed it was ok and have been having baths since 😕

Both are perfectly normal :) the clear one basically has less milk fats in it and if you massaged or expressed for a minute or two it will go the same white colour as the other. As others said boobs are never symmetrical so the amount of milk fats and where they sit within the breast will be different.

For the bath it depends on how you gave birth to baby and if you have any stitching that needs healing. C-section tells you to wait the longest and if you were lucky enough to have vaginal birth with no tears or episiotomy then that will have the shortest healing & wait time. I had a 2nd degree tear with my birth and was advised 2 weeks before a bath and 8wks before swimming, but could shower immediately.

Milk also changes based on the weather(!) and baby's changing needs. E.g. if it's very hot it becomes a different consistency to hydrate better. The science is described much better elsewhere 🤦🏻‍♀️

Very rare to have genuine low supply. Just keep feeding baby and as long as they're growing (along their percentile!) and are getting wet and dirty nappies then all good 👌

I had an episiotomy but they recommended having a warm (same temperature as babies bath) to keep the stitches clean it also says on the NHS website that after one you can bathe or shower xx
