We've been living with in laws since I got married, its been around 9 years, and we've finally moved into our own place because of having no space anymore, with kids etc, although I've been wanting to move out for the last 5 years but husband couldn't seem to let go. Anyway, the next few days after we'd moved out, I noticed that when we went to visit my in laws to see them and also to grab our remaining things, she would be SO awkward and strange towards me. Saying hello very quietly and barely looking at me, same with my sil, who was visiting during those days. Their behaviour was very odd and I thought it was once off, but the next day it happened again. I didn't tell my husband because I thought it was pointless, but what could the reason be?! I mean, they actually wanted us out because they're quite old and want their quiet time so I couldn't understand the behaviour

Could seem like they wanted all of you out but maybe could just be that they want everyone but your husband out. Attitude and odd behavior could come from resentment that you’re the reason your husband is leaving the home.
if that's the case, it's just super creepy 🤣 also might be some truth to it

I’d just ask them? Say ‘is everything ok? I feel like you’re being a bit quiet with me so wanted to check we’re fine’?
they would deny it and make it out as if it's all in my head

Ask your hubby then? At least of you being it up with them they’ll know they’re acting weird and perhaps stop. Or just stop seeing them for a while. You’ve moved out now, enjoy your freedom 🤗
yeh I'm going to opt for the second option because it's just better for my mental health

I wouldn’t care.. just leave them and focus on your new house and life away from them..
