My 3 month old is over the worst of her colic now however she will only sleep on me, whenever I try to put her down she wakes and screams and gets herself in a state. I was previously able to transfer her to her crib at night whilst in a deep sleep but I can’t even do that now, she just wakes as soon as she’s down and she’s sleeping on me ALL night. I am exhausted. She won’t even sleep next to me in the bed. She always drops her dummy which is a pain. And we already play white noise all night.
Is 3 months too young to begin to self soothe? I’m worried I’m making things more difficult in the long run for always giving in but I can’t keep seeing her cry like crazy. I have not been able to be productive since she’s been born as she’s constantly in my arms! Which is super tricky with a 4 year old. It makes night times even harder as I don’t want her to wake my other daughter.
