Duvet and blankets

Is anybody using a blanket or a duvet yet? I’ve seen a lot of people saying they are but I’m scared. Her room is quite cold and she sleeps in PJ and a growbag. But she sleeps all night and in her own room. I’m worried she rolls onto it and can’t get it off her

I'm thinking about it. She likes to put stuff on her face and goes to sleep with her blanky on her face. After a while she does take it off so i am slightly comfortable with her in bed. She tosses and turns most nights and all blankets i put on her are at the bottom of the cot 🤣 i just want a full night's sleep. She must be getting vold because she keeps waking up. When she's in bed with me with a pillow and duvet, she sleeps really well

I know they say not to but I'm using 4 blankets with a 3.5 tog sleeping bag and he is still frozen, I had to take him into my bed this morning at 5am as he was so cold but as soon as he laid on my shoulder, he fell asleep. We can't turn the heating on at night and he kept waking up more and more frequently especially in the morning, it became every 20 minutes he would cry, no matter what we did! Don't judge but he is a very cold sleeper at night. Even when he was younger he would need blankets with a sleeping bag otherwise he would never sleep and he would be freezing.there is not much else we could do but if we could avoid using blankets we would just use the sleeping bag.

I use a blanket (knitted one so has holes) as an extra layer. But she is very good at kicking it off when she doesn’t want it. She hates a sleeping bag so got the quilted sleepsuits from next and honestly he’s thing we’ve bought, she’s been perfectly toasty since! Basically like wearing a duvet

I still use a sleeping bag and am going to until she goes to a toddler bed. I'm gonna convert her cot to a bed when she starts trying to climb out of the cot and then give her a duvet and pillow maybe

fleece sleepsuits or fluffy next ones what I put my boy in last year worked a treat and this place is really cold right on the coast and top of hill so windy as can be

Nope, we’ll keep using sleep bags until we convert her cot to toddler bed. Our daughters room is cold too as it has 2 outside walls, but she’s fine as is. Just add a layer as and when needed. Id always rather her run slightly chillier and her wake than her be too hot and not wake. Also cold hands are normal and aren’t an indicator of their temp. Always check back of neck or chest/tummy x

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

4 month sleep regression

Does anyone else feel like they’re back in the newborn trenches through the 4 month sleep regression ?? 😭😭 my boy turned 4 months yesterday and the past 3 nights he’s woken up every 20-40 minutes. He does manage to get back off to sleep after I give him his dummy. It’s so strange though because his daytime naps don’t seem to be affected? He has 2 x long naps a day (around 2 hours) and a couple 30-40 minutes here and there and seems fine during them, it’s just his night time sleep! I read it can last for 6 weeks, I pray it doesn’t because I am shattered 🤣🤣

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡
