13 week scan baby wouldn’t move!

Just had my nhs scan at 13 weeks. The heart beat was clear, the picture wasn’t very (think this is due to carrying extra weight on my tummy anyway) the baby wouldn’t move position at all!! So she wasn’t any to give EDD or do screening tests. I have to go back next week - has anyone else experienced this? I am so worried do I just have a lazy baby or might there be something wrong 🤯 x

I had to go on a walk and have some chocolate - baby was upside down and wouldn't move! Had turned around when we went back in 2nd time but not moving much! Luckily we saw the heartbeat too first time or would of been quite stressful - but she didn't seem concerned xxx

I’ve had a similar situation before. The next time I went I had a fizzy drink before going in and baby was moving around lots!

If you drink a cold drink with ice in it it makes baby more active I was advised this at my nhs scan xx

Yes this happened to me but I went back an hour later, I had to go for a walk round the hospital & drink a fizzy drink then baby was in position xx

Thanks so much everyone - not just me then! When she never suggested a walk or sweets I just worried that the extra week was for a worrying reason. I will look forward to seeing the lazy toad again next Monday and may have to have a Diet Coke and a pack of chewits for breakfast 😂🤪 x

I had my scan today, and while mine was moving, it was refusing to be in the right position, so gotta go back on Thursday 😅 I was jokingly suggested if I should do some jumos and they were like, ok go ahead😅😂 didn't work... Not the walk or going to the toilet... They advised me to drink soda next time as well

Had my scan today and they made me lift my hips and shake them hard side to side for 30s and the baby was then in the right position although a lot more bouncy than before when it looked asleep haha

When I went for my 12wk scan they said baby was stubborn lol but they cudnt do the EED or any scans but baby was 100% fine tbh I wouldn't worry when I spoke to the midwife she said she just do a blood test at my 16 week check up x

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
