Husband is leaving for a little less than a week unexpectedly. He has serious family medical issues and needs to go urgently. I encouraged him to go because I understand the feeling regarding my own family. But, I was also unprepared. I’m going to miss him a lot. I’m super anxious and overwhelmed at the thought. I won’t be completely alone at home (thank god) But I am especially worried about sleeping alone with baby at night. 😞 I have a history of terrible anxiety around it and off my meds from pregnancy and it is rearing its ugly head again. I don’t know how I will manage nights. Meanwhile, I feel terrible I cannot go and support my husband with his family. We are starting to penny pinch and I figured it would be best/easiet for him to go because he needs to visit more than we do. Especially with our 4 month old and hospitals and a very small, old home etc. it seemed like a lot.
Any words of encouragement? Memes? Videos? I’ll take anything nice 😆 because I wanna cry bruh

Plan something nice for when he returns. Something to look forward to and to take your mind off of him leaving/ his mind off of his family emergency xx

See if a friend can stay one night, even if they don't help with baby, just having someone there can help

Planning speakerphone/video chats with partner or someone else do a lot for me. Sometimes babies cry but having someone else to make random convo with the little one gives me a break and a chance to ground myself. Treat yourself to something inexpensive like going to the park with little one and a hot coffee. You can do this and it will end ❤️
