Yes I think so. I have two friends who had prolapse - one from a very fast birth and the other from coached pushing. The first one she said it felt like there was something inside her vagina and when she got a mirror and had a look she could see something there. She needed six months of physio and managed to get everything more or less as it should be.My other friend said it felt like something was loose and heavy and she couldn’t walk properly or for very long without a lot of discomfort. She had surgery and now physio. It’s not always that extreme though, sometimes all you need it regular and correct exercises. However it’s really important to get support from a women’s pelvic floor specialist so they properly understand the biomechanics of that area and how to heal.
Thank you. Do you know if they just went back through there GP’s who checked and referred them on?

One of them went to her GP, the other hadn’t been signed off from the midwives so called triage who directed her through them.
