My baby is waking up at least 3 times in the night, about 11, 1 3 & then for the day at 5am! It’s been going on for a couple of months now & thought it should be getting better by now. Is anyone else going through this? We’ve tried everything, she has 2 naps in the day around 2- 2 1/2 hours in total, ending at around 3.30ish latest! She wakes up & stands up straight away in her cot & cries till we get her so it’s not like we can leave her to see if she will nod back off as she won’t. Is gentle sleep training the only option now or should this pass? Will she ever learn to self settle or do we have to teach her? Xx

We didn’t have the wake ups in the same way as you, but we did have 4 something am starts for a couple of months. The main thing that seemed to make the difference was keeping her in her room until 6am (we decided we would accept this as the start of the day). We just hold her in the nursing chair, shushing and patting her bottom. If she falls back to sleep we try and get her back down, if not, just keep holding her. Fairly quickly this has led to 6 ish wake ups or at least nearly 6. Xx
